Chase Also Removing Lounge Club Benefit For Fairmont Cardholders

We’ve previously reported that Chase will be removing the Lounge Club card benefit for Chase Ink cardholders, it seems these are not the only cards affected by these changes. For the few people who have the Chase Fairmont card, you’ll also be losing this benefit on April 30th, 2015.

If you haven’t already enrolled, it’s not too late to do so. Simply go to https://www.loungeprogramenroll.com/fairmont/ the invitation code you need to enter is ‘fairmont’. Like the Chase Ink cards you get two complimentary visits and are then charged $27 per additional visit after that. You can try your luck asking for some type of compensation, but people are reporting mixed results so far.

Hat tip to reader Alex for letting me know about this

I am also curious about the courtesy points. Just called Fairmont and they said no. But I have Ink Cash – think they would offer any for a no annual fee card?

I think they’re smart enough not to remove it for their Ritz card. I’ll simply just call in to cancel my card. Considering that they make the $300 travel credit so difficult to use, they better leave it.

I’m hoping they don’t cancel it from the Ritz Carlton card too, but this one provides unlimited entries (not just 2).
