The Offer
- Signup for the INK Plus business credit card from Chase and receive a 60,000 point bonus after spending $5,000 within the first 3 months
- Signup for the INK Cash business credit card from Chase and receive $300 bonus points after spending  $3,000 within the first 3 months
The Fine Print
- INK Cash has no annual fee
- INK Plus has a $95 annual fee, not waived the first year
Our Verdict
The standard bonus is 25k on the Cash and 50k on the Plus with the annual fee waived for the first year. The Cash increase is a straight up extra 5,000 points while the Plus increase is an extra 10,000 points for the cost of the $95 annual fee which isn’t waived under this offer. That’s a good deal but not huge.
Note that in the past it was possible to get the 60,000 point bonus in-branch with the annual fee waived for the first year; you can try seeing if that offer is available now in-branch as well. It’s also worth noting that in the past there have been 70k INK Plus offers for in-branch applications.
In previous INK bonus increases, it was possible to get the higher bonus using a referral link as well (which would net the referrer a 5k bonus as well), but Demflyers reports that this isn’t working this time and the referral link on the INK card is still just the regular 50k.

Churners Note
It’s important to remember  that Chase has been cracking down on credit card churners and they typically won’t approve for the Sapphire or Freedom cards someone whose credit reports shows more than 5 new credit cards within the past 24-months, see Chase Credit Card Churning – Living with the New Reality.
With regards to the INK cards the rules appear to be more relaxed and it may be possible to get approved. The advice usually given is not to call in if your application goes into pending; just wait it out and you may get approved despite numerous new accounts. (Once you get a denial in the mail it can’t hurt to call in at that time, but don’t call in before they rendered a decision unless they tell you to.)
Things to keep in mind when applying for a Chase credit card:
- Chase will match you for the higher signup bonus if you recently applied at a lower bonus if you recently applied for the 50k/25k offers, send them an SM to get a match
- If you apply for multiple Chase cards in one day, the hard inquiries will be combined including personal and business cards
- Chase will expedite your cards with 1-2 day shipping, just ask them
- Chase reconsideration numbers

I signed up for an Ink Plus (60k points, first year’s annual fee NOT waived) and a Southwest card (50k points, first year’s annual fee NOT waived) on the same day (since I heard signing up for multiple Chase cards on the same day makes it so they only run your credit once). They denied my Southwest card but approved my Ink Plus card.
A few days later I received something in the mail offering 60k points and annual fee waived for an Ink Plus account. I think they sent it automatically after being denied the Southwest card but that’s just a hunch. Anyway, it had a personal invitation code on it and offer code. I was able to call Chase and have them apply the promotion to my account to get my first year’s annual fee waived.
FYI I dont just get cards for the points or rewards, I got the Diamond card a long time ago cause I was preapproved.
Lmao all I saw was the $500 in GC or $625 for travel, that was enough for me.
Guys a little OT here and I apologize.
Can someone please tell me what good these thank you points are???
I got the Citi Diamond, and the Citi Premier.
Got the bonus for the Premier and I dont have any idea what good they are.
From what im seeing is you can redeem like 10 and pay the balance in cash?? If so what a waste of an inquiry.
Lesson learned: research how to use points before you get several cards that earn those points.
You can google “best ways to redeem thankyou points” for a start.
Any leads or links to what brought about the assumption that its possibly easier to be approved?

Hi Doc,
I have Ink Cash card, am I eligible to apply Chase Ink plus… (I mean is Chase allowed to have both flavors of this cards.)
You’ve previously been eligible, but the 5+ rule will probably mean you’ll get denied. No idea yet how this new T&C changes it.
Even I have the same question. Currently I have Chase Ink Plus card, which is due for Annual fee now. Instead of downgrading the card, I would like to apply for this CHASE Ink Cash to get the signup bonus. I am even ready to cancel the InkPlus if I cant get a better retention offer.
Does anyone know if the offer has any deadline date? I want to apply for Ink Cash but I already have so much spending pending for my other cards, so can’t accommodate right now but may be 2-3 weeks later should be fine.
Since you mentioned that Chase will match the 60k offer, I wonder if it would be worth signing up with the 50k offer (annual fee waived) then calling in to get it upgraded to the 60k bonus. That way, you (potentially) wouldn’t have to pay the annual fee for the first year.
This should work i have had success with that. I even did it through referral link with lower bonus/ no annual fee. then got matched to higher offer, still had no annual fee and my referee still got the bonus….
I’ve read a lot of reports of Chase charging the AF to match the 60k offer and no reports of getting the points match but not getting charged the AF too.
I thought Chase Business and personal inquiries weren’t combined together. Your resource even says that. Are there newer data points? Not trying to correct you, just want to be clear for myself. Thanks!
Chase pulled Experian for my Ink Plus so I went ahead and applied for the BA card on the same day. Only got one new inquiry on my report. Which bureau Chase pulls is going to depend on where you live though, I’m in SoCal.
