Our Verdict

We last saw this offer back in April of last year, the standard offer is the same but without the $100 statement credit. Obviously the free weekend nights get the most value if you book expensive Hilton properties that aren’t good value on points. There is also a bonus of 50,000 bonus + $50 statement credit, although this has gone to 75,000 points recently so this offer is only worth it if you value Hilton points at under 0.2¢ each in which case the rest of the bonus is basically worthless as well so I wouldn’t bother.

If a Hilton near you sells gift cards, this should trigger the $100 credit, but purchasing them online won’t work from what I understand.

A system error has caused a delay in processing your application.

This is what I saw after clicking apply.

Dont think its really necessary to say “+ $95 Annual Fee”, but I see what youre doing. Otherwise, will all your CC posts always have “+ XXX Annual Fee”? So far, they dont. Just saying.

There used to be a way to get the credit through online. You can verify the info on Flyertalk as well.

Go and book a hyatt property that requires deposit of more than $100. I forgot the name, but there’s a property in Vegas that requires deposit but fully refundable. There are other properties like that as well. I think certain types of Hilton properties require deposit but I forgot which one it was.
You’ll get $100 refund, then you just cancel it after. They don’t claw back the $100 as far as I remember. Obviously, you want to book for a date that’s pretty far out to give time for refund to post in your account.
Anyways, YMMV. This trick worked a few years ago. I don’t know if it still works.
