The Offer
- Get $15 off $75 on eBay with coupon code: CDECFLASHSAVE
This offer runs today (Wednesday) only, from 2 pm PT until 9 pm PT, but it’s already working for me.
The Fine Print
- The Coupon is for a $15 discount off a minimum purchase of $75, valid until 9PM PT on December 28, 2016
- Discount applies to the purchase price (excluding shipping, handling, and taxes) of eligible items on eBay.com
- Eligible items exclude items in the Coins & Paper Money, Gift Cards & Coupons, and Real Estate categories
- Coupon can be used once per PayPal account within a single transaction (or cart), while supplies last
- Only eBay members paying with a PayPal account, registered with an address located in the United States or Canada, can receive the discount
Our Verdict
It’s a shame they started enforcing the gift card exclusion of late; I assume this one will be enforced too. You can still use it on things like stamps (link, link) and over daily living items.

No more Paypal payment. They stole my money.
begging for a shutdown
Let me ask this question at the risk of being mocked. I’m selling an electronics item on ebay for $75. My spouse buys it from her ebay account using this coupon code. I’ll need to pay an ebay selling fee of $5.2 on this item, but we make a profit of $15-$5.2=$9.8. Won’t even have to ship the product.
I do understand it may not be an appropriate way to do it but it’s just a one time thing i.e. the code can only be used once per PayPal account so its not like some permanent arbitrage.
Now my question is, do you see any problem with this approach? Perhaps ebay shutting down the account if they catch?
If you have the same address as your spouse, eBay will block the sale.
The sale has gone through fine.
You risk violating their “shilling” policy but so long as it’s a legitimate purchase and sale I think you can get away with it if eBay comes knocking on your door.
I wish Paypal was shutdown.
I cant trust items from eBay anymore
Every 2nd item is fake used or bad quality.
