Our Verdict

These have a purchase fee of $6.95, so you’d be making $8.05 profit plus any credit card rewards & minus any unloading fees. You should also be able to stack this with 2% cash back with eBates in store cash back (update this now excludes gift card purchases so probably won’t work). BB&B codes as home furnishings so you’ll struggle to get a category bonus on this purchase.

I see the November deal is a $25 visa card for the purchase of a $200 gift card.

Was at BBB today and saw the $200 visa gc. Bought two at 2 different transaction. A different CS tried to give me a hard time when buying the 2nd one trying to tell me I need mail in the rebate by Oct 29. Will try to submit these online. Took a pic of the receipt and the barcode that was scanned when purchasing and hopefully that is all I need. Thank DOC!

Postmark date is 11/28. You can submit online by 11/28. No need to rush I guess.

Limit 1 rebate for 2 VGCs per household

I went to BBB today. Their Ad clearly stated that limit of 1 rebate per household which contradicts with limit of 2 that we saw in their rebate pdf online. Not sure which one is correct so to be on the safer side , I just purchased one 200 $ VGC.

Are there any data points on how the rebate limit applies to purchases from all three Harmon stores?

Just as an FYI, the 5 back VGC card if were able to find one in OD gives 5% back at BBB. So if you got the 5 back card at the OD deal couple weeks back and still have them, this is a good place to spend them and make an extra 5%.

Also the last time I was in BBB I was trying to consolidate BBB GCs and the CS Manager said you cannot do that (buy store GC with store GC/store credit) but can buy anything INCLUDING VGC with BBB GCs and that is store policy. I am not sure if she was speaking for the specific store or for anywhere, but I will try be trying it out this time if I find $200 VGCs.

Only one BBB in my state stocks the 200 and it’s too far away. Only one in neighboring state also. So this offer is worthless to most shoppers—and ebates in store offer only takes Amex or Visa–double suckage

I agree went to several stores in NJ and could not find any $200 cards only $50 and the managers were unaware of this promotion.

Strange. One of my stores even had a the promo next to the VCGs and they had all kinds of them, including many 200s.

since the rebate stated the limit is 2 per household, i bought 2 in 1 transaction & should get $30 cb for a single rebate submission, correct?

I bought 2 in one transaction, submitted the rebate yesterday. This morning I received an email that it is valid, however the amount was $15. Started a chat and after 20 minutes they updated the rebate amount to $30. In the future I will make 2 separate transactions and two rebate submissions.

Already bought 2 vgc at BBB, possible to buy more and get rebate again at the other stores? Do they conflict with each other?

Sorry for this dumb question. but VGC can only be purchased at B&M BBB store (not all stores, only some) and not BBB online, right?

If i am right, then why are people talking abt Ebates? Isnt Ebates a cash back portal that only work with online purchases?

Dont use Ebates that much so i may have missed something here
