The Fine Print

  • Using a promotional/coupon codes not posted and approved by TopCashback

Our Verdict

Giftcards.com returned to some portals back in late February but for the most part the rates kind of sucked, or were with unknown portals. It’s nice to have the higher 1.5% rate back with a well known portal. Who knows if this will last or not.

A minor correction: They do not apply the 1.5% rebate to the $1.99 shipping fee, so you only earn $7.605 per $500 gift card after the $6.95 activation fee, meaning each $500 card ends up costing $1.335 net. I can confirm this from the 8 cards I just purchased where $60.84 was posted to my TopCashBack account.

How many days does it take for it to be payable in TCB?
Can we do multiple orders in Giftcards.com ? Like 10-20 of them?

So long as giftcards.com doesn’t cancel your order and you go thru the protal for each order, you’ll get cashback for each.

Probably take a few weeks/months. Not sure.

You always want to get the gift cards that have PIN’s. That way the cashier will think it is debit card and not a gift card. I recently signed up for a Bluebird account online using a family member’s name. I am hoping to load it at Walmart. We will also use the BB card to make a few small regular purchases so that they see that the card is being used as it was intended.

I thought Bancorp cards are useless at WM… Am I missing something?

The Bancorp cards from Giftcards.com work just fine at Walmart. Only cards that do not are the OneVanilla cards

I have over $100 in CB from iconsumer. They better pay out or they’ll never hear the end of it from me.

iConsumer has been at 1.5% for a bit. But intermittently I’ll get a “we cannot currently track iConsumer purchases” note on their giftcards.com landing page.

Also, still waiting on a first payout from iConsumer — think end of this month. Seems legit, but still…
