Our Verdict
We just posted about a similar WSJ deal, but that required a $12/12 week subscription. This deal is better as you only need to pay $1. Just keep in mind your subscription needs to stay active for at least 45 days and you need to cancel before the 8 week period ends otherwise you will be automatically enrolled in a monthly plan. Pretty sure you can only cancel by phone and it’s not the easiest subscription to cancel. Please make sure you set a reminder to cancel to avoid the ongoing fees unless you actually want the subscription (in which case I’d look for a better deal first) otherwise they win. These bonuses are higher than what we’ve seen on Barron’s previously as well.

My subscription will expire tomorrow but I didn't realize that they don't have customer service hours on a Sunday. Easy way around is to change your billing address to California and you can then cancel online. Will use that from now on so I don't have to call anymore.
Good tip
No problem canceling today, day 47. Tried to keep me with a reduced subscription. I did mention that I receive WSJ access from work.
Barrons usually has some kind of subscription deal going similar to WSJ. Wonder why they stopped now?
Citi bonus is now WSJ not Barrons
Posted earlier about problems with Citi portal and Barrons. Got this message from AA portal.
"Merchant does not currently participate in the program."
Tried searching for Barron's on Citi Cash Portal and got message
"Barron's does not currently participate in the program"
Dead.
Checked out with Barron's using the SW portal while the deal was still active, but no confirmation from SW yet. Will they honor the offer?
Checked and received order numbers for me and P2. Even had each portal we went through acknowledge that we made a purchase but credit card was never charged.
Credit card was finally charged through Paypal the next morning. Will be interested in if we get the miles. WIll update.
Got the miles for American and United for P2. Cancelled at day 48 with no pressure.
Anybody getting "Mechant does not currently participate" for all of these links?
Looks like its completely dead. All of the portals are now showing "Merchant does not currently participate in the program."
Thanks, updated
Same here. Looks dead
