  • I got an email eight days ago for an offer for $10 cash back for spending $75. Ends 3/15. So that's (10+75*0.01)/75=14.3% cashback

  • I got a $25 for $250+ spend (until 03/15/23) email shortly after making a $25+ spend transaction. Not sure if they will stack for a total of $30.

  • How do you get these? I never get email offers from discover, ever. The amazon "targetted" ones I have to interact with a web page typically on amazon.

  • Note to self: Unlink Discover as payment method (for Amazon, Apple Pay, etc.) promptly after using it in order to qualify for these offers.

    • It will be on your second (or something like that) billing statement after transaction. Look at the top right reward points of each statement. It won’t show anywhere else. Mine showed $9.99 even though it was supposed to be $10.

  • How do you set it as default? I have all these options for the card, but nowhere to set it as default. I'm assuming if it's the only cc/debit, it's automatically default?
I have apple pay but never use it because it's just easier to tap the cc compared to unlocking your phone and fumbling with an app in your phone.

    • @guest_1362203 FWIW my offer says nothing about making Discover your default card and I agree with @guest_1262058 that Discover has no way to confirm what card is set to Default anyhow

    • Drag the card to the bottom in the Wallet app. It should pop up a message that says it has been set as the default. Likely you don't have to do this to get the $5, but might as well to be safe.

    • @guest_1362186 login to your account, go to Profile and click Manage Alerts, then make sure box for "Cardmember Offers and News" is checked

  • I received an email saying Google Pay but I already traded in all my android devices. Wonder if anyone knows the Apple pay works in my case.
