$20 Shoprite Credit with $100 Gift Card Purchase [Northeast]

The Offer

Purchase $100 or more in gift cards at Shoprite on November 28-29 (that’s today and tomorrow), and receive a $20 Shoprite credit which can be used for purchases on November 30 – December 6. The register will automatically print out the $20 coupon.

Offer can be found at shoprite.com homepage.

The picture in the offer doesn’t show Visa gift cards, but the terms only  exclude Shoprite gift cards, so I’m reasonably certain that it will work. I used to see only the $100 or $200 gift cards at Shoprite, but recently I’ve been seeing the $20-$500 variable load cards.

Be sure to pay with Amex Blue or a different credit card that earns extra points at a supermarket.

The Fine Print

  • Limit one per customer.
  • Must present your Shoprite Price Plus card at time of purchase.
  • When redeeming the $20 promotional Shoprite credit, you’ll need to make a minimum $20 purchase for the credit to work.
  • Promo credit can’t be used to buy gift cards and a few other item.

Our Verdict

I go to Shoprite regularly to purchase $500 Visa gift cards with my TD Bank credit card which earns 5% at grocery stores. See 5% vs %% vs %5.

I won’t have time today, but I’m planning a Shoprite trip for some time tomorrow to take advantage of this offer.
