Update 10/1/24: See updated categories in this post
Update 6/28/24: Categories extended through 9/30/24
Original Post 4/1/24:
Here is the new list of Chase Sapphire Reserve Pay Yourself Back categories, valid through June 30, 2024:
- Wholesale Clubs 1.25 cents per point
- Pet Supply stores and services 1.25 cents per point
- Also available, as before: Gas Stations 1.25 cents per point
- Also available, as before: Annual Fee 1.25 cents per point
- (They’ve removed Grocery as an option)
They’ve also extended Chase Chase Aeroplan PYB for 1.25 cents per point on Travel purchases through 12/31/24.
If anyone can verify the Chase Southwest PYB 1 cent per point toward cover the annual fee and .8 cents per points to cover Grocery or Gas (up to $300 in statement credits), please let us know. Same for the Chase United PYB for the Annual Fee (between 1.5 and 1.75 cents per point, depending on the card version), please let us know.
Hi, does anyone have info for the 4thQ categories for CSR? thanks
Last quarter, Chuck got word 2 days before the end of the quarter. Hopefully, we’ll find out on Friday.
Southwest PYB now Home Improvement Stores + Annual Fee. Unclear what the rate is.
Is this now the best way to leverage points? I’m thinking between Costco purchases, and travel. I’ve stockpiled many URs, saving them, but I guess cashing them through PYB isn’t too bad of a redemption.
United still showing AF as PYB category, though I can’t see the rate because I don’t have a charge yet. United flights also a PYB category at 1cpp.
We need grocery back
Yay! So glad for the extension. I’ve got 80k UR posting a few days into July and still have more Costco charges to cash out.
i believe the southwest pyb is dining now not grocery and gas.
Yes that’s what mine is, also Pyb annual fee.
wow was fully expecting Chase to nerf PYB altogether. Renewal is up next month, maybe i’ll stick around another year.
The Sapphire Reserve PYB categories have been extended until 9/30/24. Wholesale clubs, pet supply stores, gas, charities, annual fee.
Updated now, thanks
Has anyone tried Sam’s, Costco, BJ’s online to see if they are eligible for PYB? (I’d assume yes)
I did Costco in-store, .com, Same Day, Instacart, all ways worked
Interesting that Costco via Instacart worked as well
A samsclub.com order worked for me back in April
