my previous electricity company accept apple pay, but my current one doesn’t. Anyway to quickly use $50 on apple pay, besides buying gift card from grocery store?

Not as good as the Apple Pay 3x no minimum, get $10 back deal that just ended, which I had on one of my Amex Plats.

This $50 deal is only showing up on my Hilton no AF card

I got this on my BCE. I have had the card in Apple Pay for a few years, but probably have used at most once or twice in the past year or two. Bonus: I didn’t need to add dozens of offers to my card to see it.

Does this stack with other AMEX merchant offers? For example, if I used the Hen House offer to spend $100 or more to get $20 back and I happen to use ApplePay, does it count as one of the three times to get $5 back for spending over $50?

Not sure about this specific offer but they usually stack. It probably depends on how it codes on your transaction.

It did for me. I bought a Roomba at iRobot.com and I got both the $75 on $400 spend merchant offer, and also $15 for what I believe is this Apple Pay offer. I wasn’t expecting it to trigger all 3x $5 back in a single transaction, but that’s the only explanation I have for the $15 credit that posted on my account for the same irobot.com transaction.

Get a $5 statement credit by using your enrolled eligible Card to spend a minimum of $50 in one or more purchases using Apple Pay on your eligible device by 10/15/2024. Limit of 3 statement credits (total of $15). See terms.

I think this language technically means you could do a single $150 Apple Pay transaction and get a $15 credit, but I’ll probably split it up into 3 $50 transactions to be safe.

I wonder if you could do more than 3 transactions adding up to $150 and get the credit. eg: 5 transactions of $30 each.

In that past that would work. Basically it’s a cumulative total. Every time you pass another $50 you get another $5 credit.

Just to confirm as well that the transactions can be mixed and matched. I spent over $100 in one transaction, and ended up with $10 credit with the name of the merchant. Then I made several other small transactions to get above another $50 increment, and the other $5 showed up with the name of one of those smaller merchant purchases.

Had to pay $199 earlier today that can’t be easily split. Let’s see if this would trigger the $15 credit or is Amex only gonna give me $5.

the dumbass above thinks we can only do one instance per cycle and that he wouldnt be able do do the 3rd one since we only have 2 full statement cycles
