Airpods Pro For Less Than $200 From Verizon Wireless After Discount + Portal + Chase Offer

Update 6/8/20: Back in stock at $219.99.

Update 5/16/20: Deal is slightly better than before as the Airpods now cost $219.99

Verizon Wireless has Airpods Pro on sale for $224.99 (now $219.99). You’ll see the price reflected in cart. Seems that all other Airpods are discounted 10% on Verizon site as well.

You can go through Topcashback for an additional 10% cashback on Apple accessories purchased at Verizon. Yazing also offers 10% back at Verizon Wireless, though you’ll lose 1% of that to their cut.

All-in, you’ll end up paying a bit over $200 for the Airpods pro. A better option would be to get them on Amazon for $235 (affiliate link) which comes out to $188 after using the 20% off shop-with-points deal. But if you used that up or want to use that on something else, this Verizon deal is quite good.

A reader notes that there’s also a Chase Offer/BofA for 10% back up to $25. I think that would work for this (?) so that would knock off another ~$22.

  • Has anyone gotten the $20 AMEX credits to work on this, can you charge it to your Verizon Bill and pay it off over time $20 at a time?

    • Confirming Zac's experience, I didn't receive credit on my Amex personal platinum for Verizon hardware purchases either

    • Curious about this same thing. I have multiple $20 Amex credits each month, and have VZW service. Was thinking of getting some hardware (or even a phone) and using credits each month to pay towards it. Last month I paid $160 towards my VZW bill (8x20) and I don't see how it would be any different towards service vs. hardware. T&C exclude hardware so it's obvi a gamble/grey area. All $160 credits got rebated from Amex last month.

    • I have attempted to use both my platinum and green card with purchasing from Verizon (JBL link view deal from a few weeks ago). Neither triggered the credits. I do not have service thru VZ and bought the items frim the Vz store as a “guest” customer.

You may have different results if you are a Vz customer and are buying from the store thru your logged in customer account.

    • There are very good fakes out there. Check out the reddit r/reptronics for examples.

  • I have never heard of Yazing. Is it like topcashback or rakuten? Also any referral links to sign up? I don't need any AirPods right now but might be interested in signing up in the future.

    • No referrals. Only thing to know is they take a 10% cut. They have good rates usually as they pass everything on other than their 10% cut.

  • Last time I got the Bose headphones going thru TopCashback on verizonwireless. The purchase was not tracked! I bought stuff worth around $430!

      • Second this comment (I commented the same thing last time but did not get attention). It did not track for me either (I was buying them at full retail price and T&C also did not exclude AirPods when I bought it.). Oh, this is for TCB btw. I don't know whether ebates will have it.

      • I don't see exclusion on tcb website. Initially it tracked, but later all became zero. I tried three times and got nothing.
