Extended on flights through April 30th
Update 3/9/20: Alaska Airlines has improved it’s cancellation and change fee policy, if you purchased tickets before February 26th, 2020 then you can change without fee or cancel your trip and get funds deposited into your account wallet. Travel dates are March 9, 2020 – March 31, 2020.
Original post: With everyone worried about the coronavirus, Alaska Air announced they are waiving cancellation fees and change fees for travel booked between February 27th and March 12th. They join JetBlue who make the same offer.
- The waiver applies to tickets purchased between February 27 and March 12, 2020 for travel through June 1, 2020.
- Make a one-time change or cancel your ticket and deposit the funds into My Wallet with no change/redeposit fee.
- A fare difference may apply to your new itinerary.
- New travel must be completed by December 31, 2020.
