Amazon has a Prime members special on LifeStraw (affiliate links in this post):
This seems like something some travelers/adventurers might be interested in. Usually sells for $17-$20.
We posted yesterday on our main Prime Day page about the 2 for $20; now you can buy 1 for $9.99 as well which is more useful.
I dare you to drink diarrhea water.
You mean your spit?
Yes, Tuberculosis.
The backpacking community consensus is that sawyer mini is much better, but at $10 I guess this is good for backup or casual hikers?
From a traveling perspective, the Sawyer Mini is more practical in that you can fill an empty bottle with water, turn it upside down and let it filter into another bottle, giving you potable, portable water you don’t have to suck through a straw.
Yes the Sawyer options have better durability and functionality for planned regular hiking use, and the Lifestraw is more for backup emergency use, as it is simpler and cheaper.
