Our Verdict
Should be basically a free $5 for Amazon prime users, when use the $5 off it needs to be an item of $10+ so keep that in mind. As always we will add this promo to the complete list of ways to save on Amazon. Looks like most people won’t be eligible due to having to sign in to the mobile app for the first time

Another trick by Amazon. I've just read on this website that the offer expired May 31. I did not make order until June 6th.
Amazon is using more and more questionable practices. My two packages (per my confirmation) came in four separate deliveries in 4 separate boxes each delivered by an individual truck. No wonder you have to trick us...you can't make money with what you are doing!
And why are they still offering the promo on NOVEMBER 15, 2019? Ridiculous.
I scanned my tape and got the $5.00 promo - however it expired on May 31st @ 11:59 PM. You must be an Amazon Prime member to receive this offer, but it did work for me!
How do I know if I am eligible?
This is a rather...abstract promotion. It sounds like they just want to get people to use the app, and scanning the tape is just a weird hook?

Good catch, let me make clearer
Not eligible. We’ve come as far as this yet Amazon continues to put labels right down the center of the box where I have to press down on the box to keep the box flaps from overlapping so I can scan the package to be delivered.
