Anyone know if when it’s billed it’s billed as Amazon or Showtime? Have $5 chase offer that would be a moneymaker if it counted

Everything was free with prime. Now they charge for this and that. Not falling for the amazon crap.
Premium channels were never free with Prime.
Was Showtime free with Prime? I feel like it was always an additional subscription...
Slightly annoying that the only way to pay is a with card. I have my prime membership set to use my gift card balance, but by signing up for showtime with a card, this reset the prime membership method to the card as well. Easy enough to set the prime membership back to use the gift card balance when available.
This is part of the Prime Day deal right. I believe both have expired now.

Idk if everyone has gotten the same offer but Amazon offered a year of Showtime at 99 cents a month for Prime student accounts. I have a prime student account. Signed up for the offer today and received a confirmation email detailing I'll be receiving the special price for 12 months. Regular pricing applies after the discounted year.

I activated a one month free prime trial, just in case something worthwhile pops up for prime days. Anyone know what happens in month two when this renews and I am no longer a prime member? TIA
I started a one month free Prime trial last week. This morning when I used the D of C direct link through to the Showtime $.99 page, there was an offer for an additional 30 days of Prime for free. Signed up for that first, then completed the Showtime $.99 offer. I refreshed the page to see that the Prime trial was extended another 30.
