[Expired] Amazon: Purchase $100 Amazon Giftcard & Get Free Pair Of Happy Socks [Works Once Per Day]

Deal has expired, view more Amazon deals by clicking here.

Update: Not sure if the deal ever went away, but a reader reminded me of this for those making Amazon purchases might be of use. I wish they would give us another design or two.

Looks like you can do the deal once per day per gift card amount. Because of this it might make sense to just wait and do one $100 card per day rather than $100/$150/$200 cards at once if you want to stock up. Really is a shame we can’t get different designs, but maybe good for a stocking filler. Hat tip to Lantean.

Our Verdict

Similar to the Grund bear offers they often have. I really like Happy Socks products, I have some socks and they are comfy and colorful. I think these basic designs usually sell for about $11, but they frequently have big sales for like 50% off (yes I know that’s a lot for socks. I usually get mine as gifts and I like the funky patterns). You might as well get some free socks if you’re going to spend money at Amazon anyway, you can still use Amazon gift cards to purchase third party gift cards as well so no issue there. Just make sure you have a credit card that earns at a high rate on Amazon purchases, otherwise it might make more sense to use a credit card that earns at a high rate on another category and purchase Amazon gift cards from one of those stores (e.g if you have 5x on office supply stores, then purchasing Amazon at Staples would make more sense if you don’t have a good Amazon earning card). For what it’s worth I’ll be a buyer at $100 and I suspect those will sell out at some stage as that’s what usually happens with the Gund bears. If I could choose different patterns I’d probably buy at $150 & $200 as well, but since I can’t I won’t double up.
