Next round of invites will be sent out on 8/16/2022. These are getting easier to purchase at list price, but can still be an issue in a lot of areas.
Knowing what I know now and how hard it was to find one. I’m glad I dropped $800 on release month for a stockx version. Didn’t want to deal with the madness and paid a hefty premium for one. But with the chip shortages and the fact that I’m finally able to purchase one from amazon now, I’m glad I did and would do it again. $300 for a year and half of no worrying. Insane.
Walmart’s have finally been getting the PS5 for sale in store. Got 27 Horizon bundles just this past week at my store, $549. The resellers pick up about 1/2 of them, tho.
if you bought 27, that makes you a reseller, lol.
I’m surprised Walmart doesn’t limit the number you can purchase. 27 is ridiculous.
It’s been a couple of months since I requested and nothing yet. I have noticed that the eBay prices have been dropping so that might be a good sign. It’s crazy to me regular people can’t get it but there are grey market guys with access to 1000s of them on eBay. At least Amazon is trying a different approach and not overcharging.
