You can get the bonus for up to 5 employee cards – total bonus of 75,000 points/$500.

Our Verdict

This isn’t as good as the targeted 20,000 points offer on other business cards, but still could be a nice offer for someone doing the spend anyway. These links might work for everyone (?). You don’t need to supply a SSN when adding an employee card, but the employee needs to add it within 60 days otherwise the account will be closed. (One comment reports they are now stricter with business cards and require SSN immediately upon receipt. YMMV.)

These deals are even better if you’re putting spend on the card anyway, e.g. if you’re in middle of meeting a minimum spend requirement or the like.

  • Have p2 added as employee card with my Amex business gold. But they rejected the p2 credit card transaction, saying needs to activate with SSN. Is there any other way to get around providing p2 ssn?

  • I recently used the Amex Blue biz link to request a new employee card and confirmed today via chat that the offer is attached.

  • I only got 7K pts for the 4K spend with BBP. Leaning towards not worth my time to deal with the rats even though these are real spend.

    • Do RATs care if you aren't making shady GC spends but you still hit those bonuses and cancel?

    • Same issue. I added 3 cards and the first one just posted as only 7k. Sounds like people are getting denied the bump to 15k even though that's what we signed up for. It also sounds like there were different links on the landing page. If we used the correct one, 15k posts (about 30 comments down from JStote).

  • Anyone get the bonus points posted for the BBP card after spend?. It has been 2 weeks since spend and still nothing. Paid taxes.

  • Seems that Amex took down the offer for the Business Gold card. It's not working today. Other links still work.
