The Offer
Direct Link to offer (go incognito)
American Express released a new signup bonus today on the Blue Cash Everyday card:
- Earn $250 back after you spend $2,000 in purchases on your new Card within the first 6 months of Card Membership. You will receive the $250 back in the form of a statement credit.
- Update: There’s another offer currently available for $200 + up to $150 in Dining credits. Details here.
The press release from today mentions a $200 signup bonus, but I’m seeing $250 incognito.
Card Details
- No annual fee
- 3% cash back at U.S. Supermarkets, Gas Stations, and Online Retailers (on up to $6,000 per year in purchases for each category, then 1%)
- 1% back on other purchases
- No redemption minimum on cash back earned
- Receive up to $15 per month in statement credits from Home Chef meal delivery. Enrollment required.
- Receive $7 back each month (up to $84 back annually) after spending $13.99 or more each month on an eligible subscription to The Disney Bundle which includes Disney+, Hulu, and ESPN+ using your Card. Enrollment required.
- Low intro APR: 0% for 15 months on purchases and balance transfers, then a variable rate
Our Verdict
The card got a refresh today with new benefits; at the same time they increased the bonus to $250. We have seen bigger bonuses for the Blue Cash Everyday, often those weren’t showing for everyone or they had more complicated structures. This offer also gives a long 6 months to accomplish the spend requirement. We’ll add this to our List of Best Credit Card Signup Bonuses.
You might do better applying for the Blue Cash Preferred $400 signup bonus and swallowing the $95 annual fee. You’ll end up with an extra $55 bonus that way, and you can eventually downgrade the card to become a Blue Cash Everyday.
Still, the $250 signup offer can make sense if it’s what you can pull up via referral link in 2-player mode or if you want to immediately take advantage of the Disney and Home Chef credit.

Up $6000 for gas, up to $6000 for supermarkets OR up to $6000 for the combined purchases of gas and supermarkets?
$250 shows up on firefox without needing to be in incognito
How many AMEX cards can I have? I only have the Hilton HHonors one and wondering if this second one will be some sort of limit for me in terms of future AMEX cards.

"Earn Up to $250 Back" comes up for me. Just kept opening incognito and closing until it popped. Only took 4 or 5 tries.
This offer is now targeted.
"Earn $200 Back or More
Find out your welcome offer if you're approved. You'll then have the option to accept the Card and offer."
just got approved. Still active in incognito first try. 11/20
Can confirm that the $250 offer is active. Just gotta keep opening it in private mode in different browsers till it shows. Took me about a dozen tries. Private safari on my laptop was the winner.
@will Looks like they've updated the details of the offer so it's 20% off PayPal (up to $150) plus $100 for spending $2,000 in first 6 months:
