The American Express Delta Platinum & Reserve cards both offer status boosts for meeting certain spending requirements. For 2021 these boosts will be increased by 25%.
- Platinum (personal & business): For every $25,000 spent you receive 12,500 MQM (normally 10,000), up to $50,000 in spend
- Reserve (personal & business): For every $30,000 spent you receive 18,750 MQM (normally 15,000), up to $120,000 in spend
Can’t imagine this will be enough to get anybody to move a lot of spend on these cards. I suspect Delta and other airlines will make it easy to earn elite status for the 2022.
