Our Verdict
I think everybody should have a 2% cash back card in their arsenal (unless they are capable of getting more than 2% on non-category spend via other cards or purchasing gift cards with cards that earn 5%+cash back), I already have a fidelity American Express and if you have one or plan to apply for one I’d recommend reading these two posts:

This card had a $75 bonus earlier this year and there are cards that offer a lot more than $50 as a sign up bonus. If I didn’t already have this card, I’d wait to see if Citi will offer a public sign up bonus on their double cash card as people have reported already seeing $200 targeted sign up bonuses. That said, applying for this card would not be a mistake at all.
