American Express Gold 50,000 Point Offer Available Via Incognito Mode

Update 3/9/20: This link seems to work incognito to get the 50,000 points with just $2,000 spend. (hat tip to intervested99) Might have to try a few times, for me it’s working consistently.

Seems to be frequently available again. Spend requirement is now $4,000 instead of $2,000. Hat tip to Monkey Miles

The Offer

Direct Link to offer (might need to open in incognito mode to get the offer to show)

  • Get a 50,000 points signup bonus when spending $4,000 within 3 months on the American Express Gold card

The Fine Print

Our Verdict

This offer seemed to disappear when they offered the limited time rose gold promotion and now it is back again. Should also show up via referral if you use incognito mode as well but remember not to self refer anymore. We have seen a bonus of 50,000 + $100 so it might make sense to wait for a bigger offer to come along. Because of that I won’t be adding this to our list of the best credit card bonuses. If you’re thinking of applying, make sure you read these things everybody should know about American Express cards first.

  • If someone with a different card sends a referral, do they still get the points for the referral?

  • Do most referral links that people are using to refer open with the 50K bonus with $2K spend? Or is the special link above the best way to sign up with 50K bonus with $2K spend?

  • How the referral works for this.. If I invite someone, they need to open the link in incognito mode from email ?

  • The direct link in incognito mode is showing 50,000 points after $4,000 in spend. Did the minimum spend just change?

  • I used TOR browser and see offer for 50,000 with 2,000 spend and annual fee 250

  • got this message on the 50k / $4k offer pulled up incognito

based on your history with credit card balance transfers, American Express welcome offers, introductory APR offers, or the number of Cards you have opened and closed, you are not eligible to receive the welcome offer.

bummer, I have had practically every card amex offers so I guess I shouldn't be surprised

    • That's the same message I got. Oddly enough, when I log into my Everyday account, it displays a pre-approved offer for me to get 35,000 after $4000 spend on the Gold card.
