Our Verdict
Previously the best deal was 150k + 50k or 150k + $100. We have also seen the free night certificate offer but that was restricted to weekend nights but Hilton improved free nights so they can be used on any night. I’d only recommend signing up for this offer if you plan to use the Hilton points sooner rather than later as Hilton is known for devaluing points. We will add this to our list of the best credit card bonuses. Similar bonus available on the business card but for 150k + free night certificate.

Do only certain purchases count for the minimum spend requirement? I am on chat now and the help center is telling me only spend at hilton hotels and US restaurants count towards the minimum spend.
If true, you need to put this in the description, maybe even in Bold.
The case has been escalated.
@will
Just received the FN for a biz card and it clearly says weekend nite....not sure if others have reported this
"Free Weekend Night at over 5,000 Hilton Properties"
FNA and SUB points have already posted to my wife's account. Wasn't expecting FNA to post so quickly since it's been only 6 weeks since she opened the card.
if you apply using this link and don't get the popup, does that mean you're automatically approved? Or is there another step to confirm?
If I apply for the Aspire and Honors, could I stack the FNR?
With regard to the 10 priority lounge passes, do I get the real paper passes? Can I use one for myself and the other for my wife together at the same time or am I the only one that can use the pass?
Thanks.
I have used 4 guests at one time without any issues.
Yes. Your 10 total passes are not just restricted to yourself. So, if traveling with your wife, you'd use 2 passes to enter the lounge and have 8 left. I've never tried it outside of me and my P2, so not sure if there's a cap on how many guests you can bring in at one time
Good question - hope you get an answer. Can these things be transferred/sold?

Hilton is offering $300 / $500 in statement credits on the No AF / Surpass card when logging in to Hilton WiFi.
No AF text: "Earn up to $300 in statement credits for purchases charged on your Card directly with a hotel or resort within the Hilton portfolio in your first 12 months of Card Membership."
Surpass text: "Earn up to $500 in statement credits for purchases charged on your Card directly with a hotel or resort within the Hilton portfolio in your first 12 months of Card Membership"
Is this a sign up bonus of $500 statement credit or it's for existing card holders?
Looks like a new cardholder welcome offer. I dont see anything about existing cardholders: https://apply.americanexpress.com/hilton-card-special-offer-auto/?page_url=34
I received a physical mailer for this offer, but the terms do state you "may" not be eligible if you've had previous version of this card, which I have.
Does anyone have experience with this language? I figured since I received a targeted mailer I might qualify, but I do not know.
Mailers are not indicative of whether or not you're eligible for a SUB. I would just apply and see what happens. The AmEx pop up has been showing up for quite some time now to let people know when they won't qualify for a bonus. If you don't get the pop up after you've hit submit, and your application is accepted, you likely qualify.
Would it make sense to ask for a match on the 150K offer I just applied for? Considering the current offer is 20K lower but with a FN and there weren't a lot of DPs on Amex matching offers.
Give it a go and get back to us.
I have a Hilton card with no annual fee which have already went through two rounds of upgrade (no-fee -->Surpass -->Aspire) and downgrade (Aspire -->no fee). Can I still get the welcome bonus if I get a new Surpass or Aspire card?
I have the no fee version, how did you find out about the upgrade from no-fee –>Surpass –>Aspire?
Well that was a bad move. Never upgrade or downgrade to a card you have not had before. You are now not eligible for the welcome offer. I hope you got a decent upgrade bonus
No
BTW:I never received a welcome bonus for Surpass/Aspire card other than the upgrade offer.
