American Express SFO Centurion Lounge Temporarily Closed [Open Again]

The American Express SFO Centurion is temporarily closed, the American Express app states this but the online landing page does not. Reddit user awesome2000 confirms that the lounge is in fact closed in person with a note stating:

The San Francisco Centurion Lounge is temporarily closed due to maintenance issue. Repairs are underway and the lounge will reopen as soon as they are completed. Sorry for the inconvenience.

It was also closed yesterday, but unsure how long it’s been closed or what the maintenance issue is.

  • The message about it being closed for maintenance is now gone from Loungebuddy so hopefully it will reopen today

  • Tomorrow comes Vaccine Passports, meaning that up to 50% of your fellow countrymen cannot fly.
That should have some effect on keeping the crowds out of the lounges.
Nevermind the two-tier society. There's plenty of bean soup left and free beer too.

    • How are you smart enough to make enough money to buy a computer, drive to the store to get one, figure out how to get it set up and connected to the internet, type in doctorofcredit.com, read the page to see that you could click on this article, scroll all the way down, and then still post this idiotic comment?

    • thanks to political correctness;people stop believing science, and freely believe whatever they believe

      • You don't "believe" in science. Science isn't an ideology or religion. With science you look at the data and form conclusions. The data presented so far is giving highly variable results and therefore conclusions. Not to mention there is skewed data from people that have money in the game for it to read one way. Stop it with the oversimplification.

        • science has to replace itself from time to time as it's not always correct too. the original feather vs rock/ball to matter/mass physics to the current quantum physics

  • Don't feel bad lax has been closed since June 15th and this lounge is new and opened on march of 2020. Stayed open doing to go lunches, and now closed for construction. Also there are no priority pass lounges at lax either right now.
