wth, i had already saved this offer. Now it's gone. Damn you Amex
now I feel much better. ;-)
No longer available.
Now expired :(
I specifically paid cash instead of using points to get this offer, and just finished my stay yesterday. Terrible.
Anyone know if Sheraton properties qualify? I don't see them excluded, just wondering if anyone has experience with this. Thanks!
Yes, they should.
Thanks!
tried to use connect trick to add to my bonvoy brilliant, but always got "Sorry about that! It doesn't happen often, but offers are currently unavailable. Please try again later." since yesterday. Is this related to me having multiple cards in the same account?
No, I was able to add it to my Bonvoy (converted from SPG) card, but not my Bonvoy Brilliant card using the Connect trick.
Thank you! was able to add it to my Marriott card.
0 for every offer since they started restricting double dipping. I wonder if they broke my accounts.
Damn, targeted on my Amex Platinum personal card, but not any of my 3 Marriott cards :(
Didn't get them on any of my 5 personal credit cards. I'll definitely cancel my Bonvoy Brilliant, even if they'd offer me a good retention bonus. I was offered 10k MR points for the fee-free ED card, so hoping to get a better bonus for the Bonvoy Brilliant card
Ugh, Got it on Green but not on my Marriot cards. Still not bad. But I used the connect trick and it worked. Great !
Just learned about this trick but I already added it to a different Amex card. Anyone know how to unlink so that I can link it to my Marriott card?
What is the connect trick? I got it on BBP but would rather have it on Bonvoy Brilliant to stack with the $300 credit.
Connect -> use the direct link in the OP and connect the offer to your card of choice. There is a separate dedicated post on that.
Thanks
Any idea if gift cards trigger the offer?
I bought a gift card today at the hotel front desk and immediately received the AmEx email saying I had used my offer.
Which brand did you go to?
I just bought the GC from AC Hotel's front desk and got the email notification that I've redeemed the offer.
Of course, they do
counter DP...i bought a $300 physical at a marriot front desk, and no Amex email, no credit (yet). YMMV
Which brand did you go to? Care to share?
Specifically excludes gift cards in the terms...
Physical gift cards post as a stay in L3 data with the same date for check-in & check-out
Eh ? Only if bought at front desk, and even then not always.
Physical gift cards always track for me
