Our Verdict

Shipt is a grocery delivery service which has a $14 monthly membership fee or yearly membership fee of $99. You can also get a free two week trial. Obviously the deal will be best if you can use it in conjunction with the free trial.

50% is a nice discount on groceries. Keep in mind that Shipt prices will be different to what you’d pay in store.

Should be possible to make the deal even better by stacking with other promo codes or whatnot. Sometimes individual stores will also have a sign up bonus via Shipt. Feel free to share how you stacked this deal in the comments.

  • Used this today on a grocery order from Target. If you are careful you can find many items that are competitively priced. I bought multiple quantities of store brand (Market Pantry) staples like pasta, pasta sauce, canned foods, ketchup, and some brand name items that I knew were about the same price I would normally pay at Walmart or WinCo (the lowest where I live). I put $115 worth of groceries in my cart, got a $15 new customer discount, got the $50 Amex credit, and gave a $10 cash tip, Effectively got half off my order, and ended up with a nice stockpile of non-perishable staples.

    • Do you remember what promo code you used to get $15 off. From what I see you cannot stack free delivery and $15 ($20) off- if you use a promo code than you either have to choose $8/month or the annual membership.

  • Posted about this in r/churning today. Pretty sure you can potentially get a $110 Target GC for $49.

  • Does anybody know if the membership fee counts toward the $99 spend requirement? I signed up for $49 on Black Friday and then spent $60+ on groceries. I got an email alert, but now I see the charges for the membership and the groceries order are different. It shows as "SHIPT BIRMINGHAM AL" for the membership, and "SHIPT ORDER BIRMINGHAM AL" for the groceries.

    • Took a few tries for some reason, but it worked. The total dropped below $99 since some items were out of stock, but I think i can make it up with the tip.

  • If you cancel your trial they might offer you 2 months trial plus $10 free, also target seems to be running $10 gc for $50 grocery on Shipt, very excited to max this out.

    • I can do you one better. Ask for $25 credit instead of $10 and you will get it. May be too late tho if you already got the $10. Probably can't threaten to cancel twice.

  • It should be pointed out that this works with Target purchases, including things like electronics (prices on these items do not appear to be inflated). Nice deal!

  • Used Doc's link to signup. Bought a stick vacuum + filler at Target. Got a message from Amex:

We appreciate you using your Amex Offer at Shipt. You'll be rewarded with a $50.00 statement credit, which will automatically be applied to your statement if your purchase meets the offer terms.
