The Fine Print

  • Offer valid online only. Includes purchases via merchant mobile app.
  • Excludes Entrees On-Trays, employee purchases, and purchases of courier equipment made through the Caviar Online Store.

  • I ordered on Caviar a few days ago and put it on one of my cards with the DoorDash 10 off 30 offer. When the charge came through, it ended up coding as doordash.com so it triggered the offer.

    I assume this deal works for DoorDash too?

    • Correct -- placed a $40.41 order on doordash, and got two emails (and credits) for $10 each; 1 from the caviar offer, 1 from the doordash offer.

    • I can confirm this. I had both the $10 back on $40 at Caviar and the $10 back on $30 at DoorDash. A single purchase of $40+ using ApplePay on Caviar triggered both offers (no emails, but credits received in 3 days).

      Initial authorization was for DoorDash. Final charge posted for Caviar. Both $10 credits were from "DOORDASH.COM SAN FRANCISCO"

      Stacks nicely with the 50% off first order at Caviar.

    • That's awesome. It usually pends as DooDash but posts as Caviar for some reason. Similar Caviar Amex offer post as DoorDash.

  • I tried to use the last one of these (that ended Oct 11) and have not received the $10 credit yet.

    • Call Amex and ask them what the status is. I didn't get some of the Shop Small credits that were running a few months ago but they added them after I called to ask why they hadn't posted yet.

      • Same. None of my Caviar and DoorDash offers tracked. Called Amex and they just tell you to wait 90 days which is what the terms say but we all know I will have to call again after the 90 days.

      • Thanks. I called and they manually credited me after saying it was valid...if it was valid, I'm not sure why the credit didn't post (though technically the timeframe was 90 days after the promo ended so they still had time). Makes me a little squeamish about doing this promo now.

        • Ended up not having to wait 90 days per the terms. I made my purchase mid-Sept. The promo ended on Oct 10th and credit posted on Oct 18th.

          • That's good to know. I know the terms say 90 days. I suppose I was impatient - but it is also the only AmEx offer I have ever used to not have the credit post within a week or two from posting of the purchase
