Our Verdict

I’m seeing this one on my cards. Terms exclude gift cards, but purchases of Xbox gift cards might workHopefully you’ll be able to stack this with the following deals:

    • Got $40 off $200 on BCE, but not on Biz Plat...... any chance this offer would appear under the Biz Plat if I don't add it to the BCE?

    • Headphones, monitors, computers, keyboards, mice, backups. Nintendo switch, games, batteries and adapters and some parts I don't know how to pronounce!

  • Just fyi from my experience, these Dell Amex coupons (as per the offer text above) can reach the total through multiple purchases ("one or more purchases"). So you do not have to make one $200 purchase, but two $100 for instance would also work. The coupons seem to be triggered for the total plus tax, so for instance a $195 total that is above $200 after tax should trigger the coupon based on my experience. Also if you have two coupons like $10 of $100 and $20 off $200 then $200 worth of purchases seems to trigger both coupons. Also if your "pending" charge date is before expiration but it does not post the final charge date until after expiration the discount should still show up. For instance I made a charge on the date of expiration and it went pending that date but then the final reconciliation had a date after the coupon expiration a couple of days later but I still received the credit. I think the main issue is if you have a "pending" charge and the order is delayed and the pending charges falls off and they post a brand new charge that goes pending again after the coupon has expired. Again, all this is just based on my experience, others can report if they have had different. Just posting because I had some concerns in the past based on what others were saying but everything worked out in the end.

  • For anyone thinking about it, if you're going to buy Xbox gift cards, make sure you buy the SAME DENOMINATION in multiples (for example, 4 x $50 or 3 x $75). I tried doing 2 x $100 (with $10 off via GAME10) plus a $10 to pad out $200 even and Dell charged me two separate transactions for $190 and $10...meaning the offer will likely not track.

    • I thought that it had to all be in one transaction also, but the wording in the deal is actually "one or more transactions" (at least on he ones that I have received and the fine print posted above). I can tell you that the deal triggered for me with multiple transactions.

      • The GAME10 coupon takes 10% off of one card in the order, hence the extra $10 card needed to bump the order total up from $190 to $200. Also, Dell is still not sending these instantly (I even made a brand-new account and used a card new to Dell for this one...nope, looks like order is being canceled again).

  • Anyone have any experience of Dell's billing glitching? Basically, bought something 11/17, digital download, got the Amex notification, charge was pending... and then the pending charge dropped off and nothing since. Code was available in the digital locker and redeemed. I suppose I shouldn't worry since I used the Amex offer that expires next March, but wondered if anyone else had anything similar happen.

  • Dell and AMEX offers are nice, but they both a good discount on the website and having an active Amex offer is rare. Either or.

Frustrating trying to chase down a good price match as I bought something slightly outside the BF deal but had to get it before the the 50 off 100 amex expired lol, interesting enough the final prices still ended up to be the same plus or minus a few dollars.

  • There version of Dell offer only usually comes on personal cards, anyone successful in getting on biz cards?

  • got in BCP. Offers stacked. 50 on 100 and 40 on 200. Counts tax as well to meet requirements. Total order was 202 includ tax
