The Offer
Check your AmEx Offers on American Express business cards for the following deal:
- Get a one-time $50 statement credit by using your enrolled eligible Business Card to make a single purchase of $100 or more in-store at T-Mobile or online at go.business.t-mobile.com/amex-offer by 12/31/2022.
The Fine Print
- Offer valid in-store and online only for Small Business Wireless transactions at US website go.business.t-mobile.com/amex-offer.
- Valid at participating locations in US. Puerto Rico location excluded.
- Not valid on purchases shipped outside of the US.
- See merchant website for shipping policy. Some merchants may not ship to all areas.
- Please note if you purchase a plan, unless you notify the merchant that you want to pause, cancel, or that you do not want to auto renew, your plan will automatically renew for another plan period (subject to applicable law) of equal length (for example monthly, or annually). This means that the merchant will collect the then-applicable plan fee and any taxes by charging a credit card the merchant has on record for you without notifying you, unless notification is required by applicable law.
- Excludes Enterprise Unlimited, First Responder and Government Agency Plans, Connected Car Product, T-Mobile Partner Program, Accessories and Prepaid transactions.
- Not valid on T-Mobile Wireless, Banking, TV and Internet.
- Excludes wholesale purchases and kiosk transactions.
Our Verdict
Nice discount here, though the fine print excludes wireless and internet payments. I guess this is meant for device purchases. Maybe could be a decent discount on a pair of Airpods, for example, or a discount on a new phone. I wouldn’t be shocked if there’s some roundabout way of getting this to work on a regular wireless bill (maybe someone will try this to purchase a prepaid refill card?) Let us know if you find this offer useful in the comments below.
Update: In practice, this seems to be working on ordinary postpaid wireless bill payments as well, despite the terms. (Not sure about prepaid. Also note that it does not seem to work for Sprint bills.) Other ideas to try are a prepaid phone card or Airtags. Again, the terms disallow all of these things.

Thx to those who reported DP's. Since this expires today, I scheduled an online payment (Desktop) to my postpaid personal account and got the "offer redeemed" email a few minutes later.
Hope it goes through today for you. The three times I used the offer for online payment, the payment went through and posted the next day.
On 12/30, called Tmobile store to hold airtag for me. Went to store and leave in 2 mins. received Amex email few mins after.
Buying accessories from tmobile.com (not the business site) might work.
For some reason the credit took more than a month to show up with the clawback at the same time as I returned the item. Obviously, I made the decision too early. I just wasn't hopeful and didn't want to make things complicated by missing the return window, etc.
11/4 T-MOBILECOMCUP : purchased a speaker from tmobile web
11/13 TMOBILE WEB UPGRADE : returned it to the store as there was no sign of credit
12/22 T-MOBILECOM/CUP : $50 clawback
12/22 T-MOBILECOMCUP : $50 credit
I paid my Tmobile postpaid bill in store and did not get the trigger email. It has been 4 days already. I noticed that people had more luck by paying bill online/app. Oh well.
I paid $100 in store but did not get the bonus. I got $50 within a day or two when I paid online. I will use the same card again to see if the bonus shows up. The account shows the offer unused.
@guest_1518106 I also paid in store on 12/3 and the credit just showed up yesterday. Might be worth waiting a few more days.
Good to know. I am surprised it took three weeks to post the bonus while an online payment triggers the bonus within a day or two. I made my last online payment of $100 a few days ago. For this account, no bonus has been posted but the offer is gone.....
I did P2’s online on 12/10 and the credit posted within a couple days. I was waiting until the last week to repeat with mine but was surprised it finally showed. The charge and credit was listed as the store address, maybe something to do with a delay in reporting?
Finally the credit was posted on Dec 30 but dated as Dec 28 for the in store charge of $100 on Dec 13. It took more than two weeks from the original purchase date.
I checked and the charge was under the local store address as you mentioned. I will wait 4 more days , which should still allow a few days for the bonus to be posted. That way, if there is still a problem, I can contact the CS before Dec 31 2022 and they cannot tell me that the offer has ended. I do not mind paying extra $100 as I have a family plan with multiple lines. Will be using up the extra credit in a couple of months.
anyone try for 1st responder accounts?
DP Look like accessory might not trigger this offer, unlike Verizon Amex offer did
Paid my two T-mobile wireless bills (not business accounts) and received the credits.
Has anyone tried on prepaid accounts - reloading?
Just tried now. Figured it was worth a shot. I'll report back.
Any updates by chance? Thank you!
I tried this myself for a prepaid T-Mobile Connect reload on 12/20 and no email or credit yet, so I'm guessing it doesn't work.
Transaction shows as "TMOBILE PREPAID WEB"
@chucksithe Sprint just changed to T-Mobile billing. As a Sprint customer, previously my bill came across as "SPRINT WIRELESS 800-639-6111 KS". Now it's showing as "T-MOBILE.COM PAYMENT". Hopefully it will trigger the Amex offer. Per DPs below no Amex email was sent. Will check to see if the offer gets removed soon.
Sprint customer (who still has "Sprint" service, but just received notification that T-Mobile is taking over billing): $100 POSTED as T-MOBILE.COM PAYMENT800-937-8997 WA and I received a -$50 credit a few days later. Just logged into my Sprint/T-Mobile account and made an advance payment on my postpaid account. No email notification from Amex that I used my offer.
Sprint customer on a postpaid account (TNX here with Tmobile SIM and Tmobile Towers). Last week i made a $1 test payment and it posted as " SPRINT WIRELESS 800-639-6111 KS". So FWIW it seems YMMV based on above comment. I am going to go to local TMOBILE STORE and make another test payment and will report if it reflects as Tmobile. Fingers crossed.
Thanks, will include this in a recap post.
Possible to use this on accessories? I know it says it doesn’t on the terms and conditions but wanted to know if it actually is possible. I wanted to buy AirTags
@guest_1486803 Have you tried yet? I’m curious too.
Does not work. My AirTags were delivered last Wednesday. Been almost a week now and no email, and offer still remained unused.
@guest_1492628 Thanks Jay, appreciate it. Let us know if it eventually posts for some reason.
