Our Verdict

Previous offers can be viewed here. Sometimes we see $50 off, but that requires $100 in spend.  Go through Swagbucks for an additional $4 back. There’s no hard pull for the debit card.

    • Say your total was $41 before the coupon and $1 after the coupon, you would be refunded only the $1. However, if you chat with customer service on the website they may be able to do something for you.

  • Question:
This was my first Red Card.. I don't ever shop at Target.. Just opened it for the $40 + $40 which worked nicely.

Can I churn this account? Close it now.. and wait for the next good promotion like $40 off $40 again? Reading the comments it sounds like I can but just asking before I do.

    • Yes, you can churn it. Be aware that you can have both a Target credit card and debit card (so if you opened a credit card, you can leave it open and apply for a debit card next time, and churn it in the future).

  • Probably an unnecessary DP but used my coupon in store after making use of it online a few weeks ago.

Expires in a few days for most folks!

  • The new coupon I finally received (replacing the one that was not sent with the Redcard) has an expiration date of 9/16/20.

  • Didn't think I'd be approved since I applied months ago and got declined but I got the card and the coupon in the mail. Thank you people of DOC.

  • i was able to use the promo code online last week, and today use the paper coupon barcode that was scanned at the register. thank you DOC community, i love to double dip!!! set up p2 with her first red card, and i canceled mine waiting for the next coupon like this.

  • Not sure if this was discussed, but for me the coupon did not work if the product price was less than $40 on website
