  • Through 12/2/24, Audible is offering their Premium Plus membership for $.99 per month for the first 3 months. Plus, get a free $20 Audible credit with signup.

Our Verdict

The credit should post right away, and you’ll end up paying $.99 for a full month of benefits + a $20 credit.

I’m not sure if this offer is working for everyone or if it’s targeted. Remember to cancel after the first month or after the third month if you don’t want to pay further.

  • I had a $0.99 for three months offer that I cancelled a few weeks ago after getting the third month's credit and I already qualify for this deal again

  • haven't had audible in about 9 months. Didn't work for me. Starting to think I should open a second amazon account since none of these deals seem to come up anymore.

    • I'm wondering if it's counting the free credit as up to $20. Because I'm not seeing any $20 and if I attempt to buy a book it wants to change my card. I'll keep the 3 months. That's 3 books at a dollar each.

      • @guest_1962562 How long has it been since you signed up with the offer? Per the email I got (a separate email from the order confimation): The $20 credit may take up to 48 hours to register to your Audible account and will be automatically applied to your next qualifying order. Once deposited into your account, you will have until December 31, 2024 at 11:59 PM PT to redeem your promotional credit.

    • That's because you have an active subscription paused. These usually work only on new or former subscribers.

I cancelled mine a couple weeks ago and was eligible. It's a useful service but not worth the real price for me.

  • Not eligible—canceled a $0.99/month Audible plan about a week ago. I did receive a targeted offer in the mail for $86/year (offer expires 12/6/24) which is a fair discount when the plan usually costs $150/year, but it's not really a compelling offer when I can cycle free trials a couple times per year.

  • Some of my US Bank credit cards have an offer that involves paying 2+ streaming service bills. Does anyone have any experience as to whether Audible codes as a streaming service?

  • I only see the full price of 15.99/mo when I click that link, which takes me to an Amazon webpage (that recognized my amazon account as if I were already logged in but didn’t seem to offer anything specific to this deal) and from there it led me to my Audible app to subscribe, where there was only the regular 15.99 price. Maybe because I ended a previous 3-month free subscription just a month ago?
