Our Verdict
We did once see a best-ever offer on this card for 90,000 miles, but this current 80,000 offer also has a $99 statement credit and has a lower spend requirement. Most people will consider this current offer to be the better offer.
The nice thing about Barclays business cards is that they don’t report to your personal credit report, so it won’t count towards your 5/24 status. Barclays used to request business documents for business card applications, but that no longer seems to be the case.
If you have a use for Hawaiian miles then this is a good deal. Some popular redemption options include:
- You can get flights for 35,000 miles round trip with the card from mainland USA to Hawaii. Note, however, there isn’t a lot of space available.
- Intra island flights are 7,500 miles one way.
- They also sell sunglasses (Maui Jim).
We’ll add this to our list of Best Current Credit Card Signup Bonuses. Check out these Things To Know About Barclay’s Credit Cards before applying. There are similar bonuses on the Hawaiian business card, Aviator business card, and JetBlue business card.

anyone know how long before the bonus miles hit. I received the $99 credit but not the 80000 miles. my statement just closed for the 2nd time since i met the spend requirement? i sent a message to customer service but want to see if anyone else had an issue getting the miles
I've had the same issue. I filed a complaint with the CFPB and Barclays responded that I hadn't yet met the $2000 spend yet because the $99 statement credit offset part of the $2000 spend. Thankfully, I'm still within the 90 day spend window and now I'm waiting until my next statement closes after putting additional spend on the card.
Need to update..

Went to review then declined. Pulled TU. I called recon, agent said more than 5 cards in 2 yrs. Should have done more research, for some reason I thought it does not apply to business cards.
mine went to review and approved next day. i had far more than 5 cards in 2 years (had 10) , 2 o the others were barclays one bus and one per. did the agent say 5 business cards. only 1 of my 9 were business
@guest_1461506 interesting, thanks. The agent did not say biz cards and I've less than 5 biz cards. Like you I've many personal cards but no prior braclays relationship.
There is also a one time 50% companion pass for this card:

I was just approved for this card, so thank you, again, DofC.. One card benefit is one free luggage check, otherwise $35. Before I applied I checked availability of award flights and found many in early to mid December, starting at 35k round trip nonstop from Oakland to Kauai.
A Barclays rep did call to ask questions about my business (dog boarding) and why my credit score sank 70 points (for the first time ever I missed an Amex payment).
I have tried everything I can think of to have my credit rating restored; I’m relieved I was able to get this card even with the drastic drop.
I applied before the offer went up, was declined, and called into recon. Problem is, recon told me if approved it’s for old offer and no match available. Has anyone matched successfully?
Had this card in 2018 so figured I'd give it a try anyway. Got "Application is being reviewed" this morning. I'll let you know the verdict.
Were you approved?
Bummer, did not get approved. Was hoping to score some Maui Jims.

Called recon next business day (Barclay Business: 866-408-4064) and answered a few questions about the nature of my business, years in business, annual revenue. Was approved for a measly $1K credit limit.
I got this result in 2019 and thought it was going to require a call to the reconsideration line to provide business documentation, but it was just simple fraud protection and had to mail photocopy of my ID. Worth making the call. Good luck.
anybody know if they still enforce the 6/24 rule on this card?
This one vs the Aviator?
Is it possible to get both?
Seen DPs of people approved for 2x Barclay biz cards. Just applied for HI and AA Biz myself. Both apps went pending for review. lol Good news: 1 HP only and only for TU.
depends on which miles you personally find more useful?
