Our Verdict
Not as good as the 100k point bonus we once saw, but I doubt we will see that again. This 80,000 point offer is the best variation that we do see from time to time. I do think this is worth signing up for if you value JetBlue points so we will add it to the best credit card bonuses. JetBlue award flight prices are linked to the cash price of a ticket, like Southwest. If you have any questions about Barclays credit cards, read this post first.

Was 3/24, and denied with hard pull last week. called recon, they said it was due to too many accounts.. asked to re-evaluate, and they asked for ID verification docs sent via snail mail for approval.. complied and called their recon line today and they had received docs and did final verification, approved for meager $1k limit. In fairness, years ago because of their bad alerts and horrible biz card website, a small balance had accrued on an AA aviator biz card and I didn't realize after I got a past due letter. Thankfully they didn't report to personal credit report back then and I paid the small balance but I could never reinstate the credit card so I ended up closing it. Always wondered if I had been blacklisted since then, guess I luckily missed that from happening.
JetBlue points seem to be worth between $0.012-$0.015/pt after checking some mock (domestic and international) bookings, with a heavy skew towards the higher end ~$0.014. That means 80,000 points is worth between $960 and $1200. However there is a 10% redemption bonus? So that adds an additional $96-$120? I'm not including the $99 annual fee.
Anyone knows when one could get the bonus points if got the card and instantly met the spending requirement?
I completed the spend requirement and paid the fee but still had to wait until my second statement to get my points.
My guess is that the earliest you'd get the points would be after your first statement closes.
I think one of the requirement is to pay off the AF.
Since you can only pay AF after first statement is generated, I am guessing the points are received only in 2nd statement.
I could be wrong!!
Best Blogs that explain how to redeem TRUEBLUE points wisely?
Is this still churn able? language on the app says "Any bonus associated with this offer may only be earned once. You may not be eligible for this offer if you currently have or previously had an account with us in this program." but previously this was 24 months.
I believe that language has been like this but I think unofficially it's 24 months on enforcement.
Barlcay being barclay... denied at 6/24. Tried recon, the rep insisted that there's absolutely nothing that he could do to overturn this decision due to the number of cards opened in last 24 months. Between CapOne and Barclaycard, I now have three wasted hard pulls. And I'm stuck in Amex PUJ. Also locked out of Chase as well. What a sad time.
@guest_1888759 As long as you don't need a loan in the next two years, hard pulls are just another day in the life of a credit card SUB hunter.
WF and US bank just approved me being lol/24
80k offer valid until 8/18, according to Jetblue.com homepage
dang, I just signed up for this last week. asking if they'll honor it. I needed to book flights and jumped on it, but my account clearly says 50k
Do they give you the 50k to use as soon as you hit the spend and pay the fee or after statement closes?
Any idea if we'll see the bonus on the biz card go up too?
