Barclays Visa with Apple Rewards cardholders have been sent out a letter stating that the card will be replaced with the Barclays View card on May 17, 2021. The Barclays View card is replacing Barclays Financing cards as well and comes with the following benefits:
- 3x points per $1 spent on Dining
- 2x points per $1 spent on streaming, internet, phone & TV
- 2x points per $1 spent on grocery
- 1x points per $1 spent on all other purchases

The card will still periodically offer financing at merchants such as Apple or Best Buy, but you won’t get any more rewards from those purchases.

Does Barclays have Chip & Pin?
Yes, even the no-fee Barclays cards have secondary chip & PIN that kicks in if a terminal requires a PIN. Otherwise it acts like a typical US-issued card.

Is this the first contactless Barclays offered in the US? I received an updated Uber Visa design card in early 2020 and it still had no contactless.
The AAviator Red went contactless in Nov 2020.
I think there were some reports on FT that the Arrival/Arrival+ went contactless in the fall.
