This page looks at the best current cash bonuses and also takes into account things such as annual fees. For a list of the best current credit card bonuses (both cash & travel) click here.

Personal Credit Cards With Cash Bonuses
Chase Sapphire Preferred: $600 – $95 Annual Fee
Sign up bonus is 60,000 points and these can be redeemed for cash or check 1¢ per 1 point, there is an annual fee of $95 that brings down the total cash bonus to $505. Requires $4,000 in spend within three months.
Wells Fargo Propel World: $400 + $100 Airline Reimbursement
This card gives you 40,000 points after spending $3,000 within the first three months. These points are worth 1¢ each. In addition you also get an airline reimbursement of $100 for incidental charges. There is a $175 annual fee but this is waived the first year.
Bank of America Premium Rewards: $500 + $200 In Credits – $95 Annual Fee
This is a 50,000 point sign up bonus after $3,000 in spend within three months worth $500 towards statement credit, you also get a $100 travel credit each calendar year (meaning you can get it twice and only pay the annual fee once). There is a $95 annual fee that is not waived the first year
American Express Charles Schwab Platinum: $750 + $920 In Credits – $550 Annual Fee
This card gives you 60,000 points after $5,000 in spend and also allows you to cash out Membership Rewards points at a rate of 1 point = 1.25¢. That makes the sign up bonus worth $750, unfortunately there is a $550 annual fee. That being said it comes with some other useful benefits:
- $200 in airline reimbursements per calendar year (e.g get two $200 credits and only pay one annual fee)
- $200 in Uber credits
- Limited time streaming and mobile credits
U.S. Bank Altitude Reserve: $750 + $325 In Credits – $400 Annual Fee
This card comes with a 50,000 point bonus after $4,500 in spend within three months, those points can be redeemed for 1.5¢ each when using the real time rewards feature. You also get $325 in travel credits but there is an annual fee of $400.
This credit union has restricted membership (military) and we’ve seen a bonus of $300 recently. $250 bonus requires $3,000 in spend.
Star Trek: $300 – $39 Annual Fee
Annual fee of $39 is not waived the first year. Requires $2,000 in spend within 90 days.
Capital One Savor: $300 – $95 Annual Fee
When this card launched the bonus was $500 and the annual fee was waived, so might be worth waiting to see if a similar offer ever returns. Requires $3,000 in spend within three months.
Chase Freedom/Freedom Unlimited: $200
Both cards offering bonuses of $200 after only $500 in spend. Neither card has an annual fee and the Freedom also offers 5% cash back in rotating categories.
Wells Fargo Cash Wise: $150
Small bonus but also a small minimum spend requirement of only $500
Location Specific Personal Cards
BBVA Select: $500 [AL, FL, TX, AZ, CO, CA, NM]
The $95 annual fee is waived the first year but this does require income of $100,000+, also requires $4,000 in spend within the first four months.
Ridgewood Savings Bank: $500 [NY & CT]
Sign up bonus of 50,000 points after $5,000 in spend within three months and points are worth 1¢ each. Annual fee of $95 is waived the first year.
Westerra Credit Union Visa Signature: $177 [CO]
Points worth 0.714¢ each. When you spend the $3,000 required this gives you enough for a $250 redemption.
TD Bank Cash Rewards: $150 [CT, DC, DE, FL, MD, ME, MA, NC, NH, NJ, NY, PA, RI, SC, VT, & VA]
Only requires $500 in spend.
Business Credit Cards With Cash Bonuses
Chase Ink Business Preferred: $1,000 – $95 Annual Fee

U.S. Bank Leverage: $750
This is a straight cash offer, requires $7,500 in spend and the $95 annual fee is waived the first year.
Chase Ink Cash: $500
This card offers $500 after $3,000 in spend and has no annual fee.
Wells Fargo Business Platinum: $500
Straight $500 bonus for $3,000 in spend (sometimes this requires $5,000 in spend) and no annual fee.
Bank of America Business Cash Rewards: $500
$500 bonus that requires $5,000 in spend and no annual fee.
U.S. Bank Cash Rewards: $500
Not as good as the leverage deal above, but the minimum spend requirement is lower at $4,500 in spend within the first three months. No annual fee either.
American Express Blue Business Cash: $500
Requires $15,000 in spend for the full bonus, but you do have 12 months to meet the requirements for $10,000 of that spend. No annual fee to worry about.
American Express Lowe’s Business Card: $100
$100 upon approval with no requirements. No annual fee.
Location Specific Business Cards

Final Thoughts
Hopefully you’ve found this article somewhat informative, it took us awhile to put together. If you’re struggling to meet the minimum spend requirements we suggest reading our tips. You could also do some basic things such as funding a new checking account with a credit card (this information is also listed on our best bank bonus page so you can get a bonus while you’re getting a bonus).
As we mentioned at the start of this article, we’ve undoubtedly missed a lot of good cash offers. If you know of one, let us know in the comments and we will include it.

Wells Fargo Propel World no longer offered
I only get one new credit card a year, I wish I could go nuts and be a little less conservative with my credit score sigh! I got the US Bank Cash Plus this year mainly for 5% back on utilities/mobile after the 150 signup bonus.
I do these mainly for the cash bonus, but it's nice if they have a purpose after that cash back wise. I want to do the Freedom Unlimited for the 200 on only 500 spend but I would probably never use it after that at only 1.5% cash back. One thing to look out for is while most of these you can cash out to your bank Amex is one where it's a statement credit if that matters to you.
This is great thanks!
Would I get approved for this card if I had the card 2 years ago? Not asking about bonus just about getting approved?
For which card?
NFCU has a $250 bonus after $3,000 in spending on the More Rewards card right now. Card also earns 3% on groceries, gas, and restaurants with no annual fee, so not a bad long-term keeper for those looking for steady cash back without an annual fee.
Has been $300 lately.
I concur, just made the $3,000 spend this past Saturday and the $250 bonus posted to my account this morning. Easy and fast bonus.
You were able to get around all the fineprint spending prohibitions?
No problem since I did the spend on my home property tax, home insurance and income tax.
Thanks, I'll have to remember that when my property tax comes due.
Minimum spend requirements for each offer would be useful, especially given that many of the people who could use the extra cash of a SUB right now might have a hard time spending $4000 in 3 months.
Yeah good point. I had them for some offers but not all. Let me add them in.
@will The Bank of America Business Cash Rewards $500 Signup Bonus is still available, as listed here https://www.doctorofcredit.com/targeted-bank-of-america-business-cash-rewards-500-signup-bonus/ and the sign up link is http://bankofamerica.com/sbcashrewards500
Added, thanks.
Given the current state of the economy and travel, may be a helpful to update this post with the latest. Thanks!!
Done :)
