Best Comments August & September

Below is a list of some of the best comments for August & September (sorry for the delay). I started compiling a list of the best comments for two main reasons:

1. So people would get a chance to read some great comments they might otherwise miss.
2. To say thank you to all of the readers that post helpful comments and make this blog a better place.

Credit Cards

• Darv sharing that Chase in-branch pre-approvals don’t have to show fixed APR’s anymore.
• Patrick letting us know that a certain area was not eligible.
• Vijay sharing this KeyBank bank account bonus. Noticed Vijay popping up a lot lately and sharing bonuses, so definitely deserved!
• VK telling us exactly how much some obscure credit union rewards points were worth.

Bank Bonuses

• Gadget sharing his experience with an out of state bank opening. I feel like Gadget is in basically every one of these lists, at first I thought maybe I was being biased but just look how thorough that comment is and how much effort went into it.
• Rusty giving us all the information we need regarding a new checking bonus. Comments don’t always have to be long to be super useful!
• Lrdx letting us know that the provident credit union $150 business checking bonus [CA only] no longer requires $15,000 to keep fee free. Significant change and actually means it’s worth doing now.

Misc

• Abey helping another reader. One of the most useful things other readers can do is answer each other questions, even better if you link to another post that gives them more information. I love to see this sort of stuff.

All Around Comments

• Yet Another Redditor has been killing it with keeping us updated on what needs to be updated on the site. Honestly it’s practically impossible to keep everything up to date so it’s very helpful when readers tell us certain pages need to be updated/changed. One such site example of YAR’s work is here.
