Note that they pull chex manually after app submission even if status shows pending approved, etc. They do not pull Chex during app. I was told that all apps go thru manual review.
Was it a hardpull or soft pull on credit?
only Chex pull manually after application. Still i don't know how the outcome is going to be for me as i am 2/1 and 4/3.
Thanks for the data points, keep us updated w the outcome w either approval or denial wen u find out
@guest_2010124,
I'm just curious, where did you find out about the offer a few days ago? I don't see a hat tip from @2. Were you the one that told him about it?

Did you sign up for Forever Humboldt before applying?
Yes, last week i applied for Humbolt membership and got it after few days. Then applied yesterday using that. Still pending with status showing initial approved.
You live in PA though, correct? If so, how did you get in? Did you simply select "Friend or Community Member” anyway?
Yes, i choose Friend/Community member. And in the notes, mentioned abt wanted to become a member and potentially help.
I don't think they restrict by state since i got the membership card.

Since this bonus isn't popular, I'm not too worried about them taking it down. I'm eagerly awaiting your DP.
Do you think in the meantime I should apply for Humbolt the same way?
You should and have it ready in case you wish to apply.
Made an account with Forever Humboldt (doesn't appear to be a fee). $500 in credit card spend (did not register yet). Got pending approval
Did you check off "Friend or Community Member" when you joined? Do you live near this CU?
Ya community member. No i don't live or work near their field of membership
@guest_2010102,
After seeing the DPs from you and @guest_2010124, I feel that I have to apply for Forever Humboldt now. That way, I'll have a head start on others if/when 1 of you report being approved by CCCU as I know that you both have high Chex!
I'm following same and I just applied for Humboldt.
@guest_2010096, Is there an option to subscribe to a particular chat thread without subscribing to the whole post or without commenting?
Worth noting eligibility requirements:
- If you live, work or worship in Humboldt, Del Norte, or Trinity County in CA, you can join.
- Family members can also join.
- The Cal Poly Humboldt (formerly Humboldt State University) Foundation staff and members of the Forever Humboldt, Cal Poly Humboldt Association can all join.
Is the last one a foundation, can anyone join?
Give it a shot.

@guest_2010094,
Disregard this idea. I misread it as "staff and members" and I now see that only the staff are eligible. You can try for this but it looks like it's supposed to be for alumni: https://forever.humboldt.edu/.
Only for three small counties in CA
Anyone have info about Chex sensitivity?
