Our Verdict
Standard sign up bonus is $250/25,000 points after $2,500 in spend and these cards have long been listed on our best cash sign up bonus pages, unfortunately it seems not all banks that issue these AmaZing business cards are offering the increased bonus. These cards do not report to your personal report, good for those trying to stay under 5/24. Obviously a great bonus, unfortunately we don’t know a lot about any of these banks so please share your experiences in the comments.

- Update 8/22/19: Arizona is back to a $1,000 bonus.
- Update 3/19/19: Some are offering a bonus of $500 again. This isn’t as good as the previous bonus of up to $1,000 they have offered in the past. Fine print says the offers expire on 6/33/2019, I assume they might mean 6/23/19 or 6/13/19?
- Update 09/23/18: Bonuses are back for 2018! Hat tip to reader BarryEgansPudding. Valid until November 30th, 2018

Applied Monday in California thru Cali Bank & Trust. Went pending. Called the bank 2.5 hours later and was told my application won't be available to them at least until the next day. And then 7-10 more days to have the card mailed. I told them I wish to withdraw my credit card application (I needed the card "yesterday"). Was told the application will be withdrawn yet the credit pull might still happen.
I went to apply for a Chase card (which is already here and I am using it already).
Thursday morning (three days after my application) these guys pull my credit.
Seriously?!
Zion website: "Business must be headquartered in one of the following states: Idaho, Utah or Wyoming to apply"
are these card promotion is application for business in Florida?

i did this in 2017 and can confirm how difficult it is. its a great bonus though (california). they seemed annoyed when i asked them to send the bonus as a check so i just spent it down. although i see no language that would prevent me from doing it again, i bet they would find a reason not to give it to me.
Fine print has 48 month language so you should be fine.
Has anyone tried funding bank accounts with this card? Did it post as purchase or cash advance? Thanks!
Does anyone know if they report to Personal Credit Reports?
Amergy Bank back to $1,000 after spending $5,000. Applied for the cash card although maybe should have done rewards card since they do have a small annual boost based on spend. Business must be headquartered in Texas per app.
Update: application declined after calling to inquire re status, they will send letter in mail with details.
Stopped by branch close to work as haven’t received letter yet, apparently they need recent tax returns with schedule C to re process and denied
Just went to app for the Vectra Bank $1k for $5k spend card.
But the offer is down to 50,000 points (= $500) as of 2/9/24.
Not worth it. Hope the higher offers come back.
Vectra is back up to 100,000 points = $1k as of 3/3/24.
@guest_1795947 Did you apply for the card? I wonder if it shows up on personal credit report. And which bureau did they pull? Does the card work for cc funding? Thanks!
I did. They pulled EX.
Applications (if accepted) are all reviewed by an underwriter. They ask a lot of questions about your business, and you should be prepared to discuss them when the underwriter gets back to you.
Mine was accepted and I received an email with DocuSign immediately.
Returned DocuSign. Got reply:
"Applications are generally decisioned between 2-3 business days"
"If approved, your card(s) and credit card agreement will be mailed to you within 7-10 days"
UW left a message a few days later but I hate phone interviews and her questions were so annoying I put my application on the backburner and applied for another CIU.
Instant approval for CIU so I no longer needed the extra $5k spend and I abandoned the Vectra application. 30 days later they closed it.
I am 99% sure this card would not report on personal CRAs.
I think I would have been approved if I'd gone through with the interrogation. If I ever run out of other biz card options I'll probably re-apply.
Thanks so much @guest_1795947 ! The phone interview sounds annoying. I saw this card on DoC a while ago but didn't apply due to the lack of information on it. A couple of days ago the bank who opened my business account emailed me the card offer asking whether I wanted to call him to apply, so it was brought up to my attention again. I was declined for CIU three times in the last three months, so I am considering this card. I need to decide whether it is worth to go through the interrogation.
Did you do the Signify? You can freeze EX (or even 2 bureaus) and WF will pull something else. Or maybe a BoA biz card? They pull TU for me.
That way you could let your EX cool off before you hit Vectra or Chase.
Thanks @guest_1795947 ! Yes I opened the Signify a couple of months ago after a CIU denial, and opened a BOA biz card at the beginning of this year after another CIU denial. I am not sure whether one can have multiple Signify and BOA.
I wish I knew to freeze EX before applying for Signify. I don't remember which one the BOA pulled, Signify and my multiple CIU denials all pulled EX and my EX got quite some hit. I wonder if I freeze EX before applying for Vectra whether they can pull EQ or TU instead.
You can have multiple BoA biz (but they pull your biz report so they can see if you're floating balances).
You can have multiple US Bank biz cards too. US Bank biz pulls TU for me.
It's possible you could get a second Signify for a separate business with a different TIN. I haven't heard of anyone with 2 but I might try it.
Good to know that they pull the biz report. I am floating balance on BOA, US Bank and Chase cards right now, I wonder if that was part of the reason why Chase kept denying me this year. I did pay off half the balance on my Chase card before I last applied a couple of weeks ago but it didn't seem to make a difference though, still a denial.
Is there a place where I can pull my business report to see what is there?
I am thinking to freeze EX before calling the banker to apply for Vectra. If they can pull another one, good, if they can't then I go unfreeze EX for them. Usually I don't like to apply for account over the phone, but I just looked at their website and didn't see the offer. The banker emailed me a flyer of it, it appears to be an over-the-phone or in-branch offer.
Sounds like a good plan to freeze EX and try Vectra.
The offer was online when I applied but they keep changing it. Weird bank.
Chase doesn't seem to care much about the float (I got my last one with the previous 2 almost maxed out!). But they do care about maximum exposure.
For a good chance of auto approval your total CL across all Chase cards (personal + biz + the one you're applying for) should be less than 50% of your household income.
You can close >1yo biz cards to get under 50%, or SM for limit reductions.
They don't care about total CC limits, only total Chase card limits.
They've also been getting stingier if you have more than 3-4 Chase biz cards open. 3 is best. So I've been keeping 4 Inks, closing the oldest when it hits 12 months, then opening a new one a couple weeks later. You can still get almost 4 per year that way.
I have 3 Inks now, and I am having a hard time getting the 4th. I closed 2 personal chase cards and reduced CL on one Ink before my last application but it still turned into a denial. The reducing CL trick worked for me last year on an Ink application, but this year Chase seemed to beome more strict. I have 1 Ink that will reach 12 months mark in October, I'll probably close it and try again.
They have gotten stricter this year for sure, because CC default rates are up. But you did everything right so I'm surprised they didn't approve your 4th.
I got approved for a 4th in August but with a lower CL than usual... I'm planning on another in November but if it doesn't work I'll have to wait to February to get under 3 open.
I bet you'll get approved in October. But if you get denied with just 2...
That would be really bad news. Probably would mean the train is stopped until default rates drop.
Did you try Vectra?
I was surprised too that they didn't approve my last application, since after I closed card and reduced the CL on other cards, my ratio was a lot better then when my 3rd card was approved.
I applied for Vectra in branch today. I did find the same card offer online after some look, but the banker said he'd like me to apply in branch with him if possible. I was not sure whether it was a better chance to get approved in branch or the branch needed to get a certain number of application or for whatever reason. The in-branch application was not instant, the banker filled out the application and sent it to underwriting. I don't see my credit pulled yet, it will probably take a couple of days before underwriting gets to it. I did ask the banker if it was ok to have EX frozen and had them pull other reports, but he said they only pull EX, so I thawed EX for them.
Thanks for the DP…do you mind sharing how many Exp inquiries you have in last 12 mos (my score and income are fantastic, but velocity is catching up w me…needing to pace Chase, Cap 1 is ridiculous, have a lot of Citi and Amex)
Seven before Vectra I think. Does the number of inquiries matter? Chase always denied me saying too much CL and new cards but did not mention inquires.
@guest_1894695 What kinds of documents did the approval process require? Do they still force you to provide tax returns, Schedule Cs, and bank statements? I have a legitimate 20-year old business, but I am wary of disclosing so much financial information for just a credit card application.
They didn't ask for any of those from me, other than a filled out application. I had a business checking with them.
@guest_1894695 Hmm, interesting DP. Thank you.
Now I wonder whether I should wait for the business checking bonus to return and do that first before trying for this card.
Did you get approved?
Yes I did. The card arrived two days ago. The disclosure that came with the card didn't mention the promotion though, I am planing to call the banker to verify that I was enrolled in the offer. Also I was debating whether to try this card with cc funding, I could not find any DPs on it.
Hey, that's great! Maybe worth testing funding on the next one one that only allows $500 or so? I've never seen a DP on that either; I think you'd be the first.
If you want a TU puller between now and your next Ink... I just got a 3rd USB approval 5 minutes ago. 1 Leverage + 2 TC, all same biz. Paid off the other 2 before app. But I still had high 0% floats on 6 other biz cards so I guess they either don't look or don't care.
Thanks @guest_1795947 ! I just opened an account with $500 cc funding several days ago, right before the Vectra card arrived. I'll wait for the next opportunity :)
After meeting the requirement for the Vectra card, I am definitely interested a TU pulling card. I am kind of giving up on Ink, they denied me three times in the past three months even after I closed some cards, reduced my credit limit and paid off some cards.
I currently have two USB Biz Triple Cash cards, one from April, the other from July, I am floating $5k ish on either of them. I am floating the 0% apr balances on some other cards as well. I am not sure whether USB would give me a third card but I guess it is worth a try.
This is similar to me right now…applied for Signify in-branch (ugh!) today. Pulled EXP and was denied due to inquiries.
Considering freezing EXP and TU to see if a BofA biz card through EQ works…then unfreezing EXP and trying on of these through CA Bank & Trust
Did WF make you thaw EX in branch?
Please do try freezing both with BoA. I would love to see your DP! I had no clue you could freeze both for WF (at least online) until I tried so you never know.
Are you pushing velocity with USB too? Or just too many TU inquiries? You might be able to get 2 the same day for 1 TU because the inquiries usually combine.
Did you end up applying? I wonder if it shows up on personal credit report. And which bureau did they pull? Thanks
Denied for the CA version without even getting any notification.
Called in to try to do a manual review and couldn't even reach the right department to deal with this.
The Vectra Bank Colorado page is now showing "100,000 points when you spend $5,000 in the first 120 days."
So that would be $1,000 cash back right, not $1500?
