[No Longer Working] Calling IHG Can Get You A 100,000 Point Offer On The Chase IHG Card

Unfortunately this method is no longer working.

The Chase IHG card has had a targeted bonus of 100,000 points after $2,000 in spend for some time, the problem is that the offer is targeted. After the offer was launched it was possible to apply for the 80,000 point offer and then get matched to the 100,000 offer but that didn’t last long. When I was on vacation reader David A mentioned that he was able to get the offer by calling IHG and asking about their credit card, this also worked for reddit user zXFDz. The process should be something along the lines of this:

  • Call 1-888-897-0083 & ask about the Chase IHG card
  • The above number is for IHG, they will state they need to transfer you to Chase
  • Once transferred they will offer you the 100,000 points after $2,000 in spend
  • You apply over the phone

As always please confirm that you’re actually getting the 100,000 point offer before applying. Keep in mind this card doesn’t fall under the Chase 5/24 rule. Please share your own experiences in the comments. Now that we have some confirmations of this successfully working I’ll add it to our list of the best credit card bonuses.
