Unfortunately this method is no longer working.
The Chase IHG card has had a targeted bonus of 100,000 points after $2,000 in spend for some time, the problem is that the offer is targeted. After the offer was launched it was possible to apply for the 80,000 point offer and then get matched to the 100,000 offer but that didn’t last long. When I was on vacation reader David A mentioned that he was able to get the offer by calling IHG and asking about their credit card, this also worked for reddit user zXFDz. The process should be something along the lines of this:
- Call 1-888-897-0083 & ask about the Chase IHG card
- The above number is for IHG, they will state they need to transfer you to Chase
- Once transferred they will offer you the 100,000 points after $2,000 in spend
- You apply over the phone
As always please confirm that you’re actually getting the 100,000 point offer before applying. Keep in mind this card doesn’t fall under the Chase 5/24 rule. Please share your own experiences in the comments. Now that we have some confirmations of this successfully working I’ll add it to our list of the best credit card bonuses.

Couldn't find a working 80k+ link as of 11/26/17.
They have caught on to the loophole. Only 80k now, just called.

Try logging into your IHG account -- mine & hubby's both had banner for 100K offer
I saw the banner offer after logging into my account, but the link returns and error for me. I called IHG who passed me to Chase (like this post says), but Chase was only able to provide me with 80K on 2k spending! I mentioned the banner ad and they said they couldn't input any codes or offer me anything else. Asked for a supervisor who said they would have chase investigate the faulty link and call me.
So for now, I'm hoping the 100K offer will actually work. I'm not applying w/o it.
I had same experience, I can see 100k offer when I login my IHG account as of 10/03 but the link leads to a error page.
Called IHG, got forwarded to Chase who said it's just 80k now! Did not apply.
Chase called me back today and the 100K offer was supposed to have expired on 9/30. They said they can't match it since it's no longer valid.
Looks like I will take the 80K on 1K spend offer via Chase website.
I tried, but was not able to be matched to the 100K since I applied under the 80K offer. Bummer.
