Our Verdict
Not as good as the previous bonus of $3,000 that required $50,000 in spend. Because of that we won’t add it to our best credit card bonuses.

Lee is correct Your confusing the premier and the preferred, the premier is 1k cash back (not ultimate rewards) for 10k spend, the preferred is 8k spend.
Why not both? Just opened a CIP, but high spend makes the spark a decent filler while waiting.
Waiting for what? Just get another Ink if you want to. This card offer sucks.
Do these cards still show up on personal credit reports? Thought cap1 stopped doing that at some point but old business cards from them definitely show up

Cap1 denial means you have either excellent credit or a 570 score.
Another reason is "too many account" overall.
The one thing Capital One is good for is a hard pull. Even after a pre-approval, they deny. After so many occasions, I stopped trying. Adios.
True. P1/P2/P3 denied with 800+ scores, P4/P5 accepted with ~700 scores (for a different Cap1 card)

years ago, I had this card. 11k credit line. 1) constant fraud alerts and charges declined. (VGC plus small item at CVS) Had to always call and got put on hold for 15 minutes. Alert removed, still did not work. Finally, was able to get VGC purchases through with other items at groceries and drug stores plus reg bill pay. Accumulated 650 in cash back which I redeemed in 3 months. Then they closed my acct with 225.00 left in rewards account. never could get the bonus. F them. A huge time waster with the alerts, declines and calls on hold.
lol they always give troll offers. Capital one sucks, besides spreading the VentureX card in 2021; hell even with a 800 credit score chances of getting a Personal Capital one card blows unless you're sub 700.
This offer has been out for about a month. I applied since this one does not report to personal credit, but was denied. At 8/24 and only one other Cap1 card. Applied with EIN. I was conditionally approved for the regular spark cash, or another card, but chose to decline since I didn't want to add to 5/24
an amex biz plat with 130k or 150k is much better for a much lower spend...bad C1...bad

NLL Plat/Gold offers are all gone as of recently and getting targeted has become rare since that time.

last offer i got for NLL Biz was in April. Then may comes around and i lost the offer fml. and never got the targetted Upgrade my 3 NLL Biz Golds to Plats or the 200k Biz Plat offer ;(
