Our Verdict
Best offer in the past was 100,000 points. That offer was more flexible as it didn’t have the $250 travel credit but had a slightly higher minimum spend requirement at $5,000. Still worth considering/doing for most people as I’m not sure if/when we will ever see that 100,000 point offer again. Read these things everybody should know about Capital One cards. We will add this to our list of the best credit card bonuses.

I had the card for one year. I just want to provide my downgrade experience. Annual fee of $95 posted for renewal at end of last statement cycle. I called in customer service two days after posting and upgraded to Quicksilver. Yes they call it upgrade. I asked for reversing of annual fee. Rep mentioned there are some validations happen internally and if I am eligible for refund I will get refund with in 10 days. Luckily I got the refund the next day.

No $250 travel credit
Was approved back in July. Now almost reached minimum spend. How long after reaching MSR does the SUB post ?

Public link still working at 9:15 pm MST. P2 just approved with Experian frozen. Terms showed 75k + $250.
Still active and working as of 10:15p PDT. P1 instantly approved and terms both before and after application listed the $250 travel credit. The main landing page for the Venture no longer mentions it but it's listed on every other page still.

4/24, 745 credit score. Have had the VX for 2 years and use it for most of my daily spending. Was hoping to score the offer on the venture so I could combine all my points and travel credits for my honeymoon in Japan next year. Anyways, I was obviously denied lol. Fuck.
Also I've got 7 (now 8) inquiries and have opened 2 personal and 2 business cards in the last 12 months
DP - 800+ credit score. No cards with cap one. Lifted freeze on all 3 bureaus. Pre-approval only showed SavorOne. Took the risk and applied anyway for the Venture.
DENIED! I hate capital one!
I was denied; 800+ credit score, no new cards in more than a year, plenty of history and income.
Pre-approval tool went from denied (no offer) to pre-approved. Went from 2/24 to 1/24 new cards. EX frozen, TU 800+ 0/6 1/12 2/24 inquires, EQ 800+ 0/24 inquires. Overall credit utilization 0%. 6 personal cards open. Instant approval with $30k CL.
