The Offer
Direct link to offer | Offer terms on Amazon.com (affiliate link)
- Change your address with USPS and you should receive a coupon for 10% off on Amazon
The Fine Print
- Valid until 12/31/19
- Offer limited to one per customer and account every 360 days
Our Verdict
Previously we’ve seen 15% off up to $1,000 in purchases ($150 maximum discount). That was much better deal, still this is a $20 savings and worth doing if you need to change your address anyway. This can also be stacked with other deals including the MR/UR/Discover discounts. Deal doesn’t work on gift cards any longer

- Update 8/6/20: Offer extended. New expiration is showing now as 9/30/20. Hat tip to reader HTN
- Update 3/26/20: Changing address is also showing $5 off $50 at Kroger. Hat tip to US Credit Cards 101
- Update 1/4/20: Deal has been extended

I didn't see the Amazon deal either. I think it's dead.
DEAD perhaps?
I was not presented amazon discount as an option
Can you use two codes on the same account? We just moved and I did it for me on one account and wife on another but I wonder if I do for my kids will I get and can use on the same account?
Think about this carefully... and the answer will come to you
I just tried, the 10%off is not shown as what Amazon claims to automatically apply. So don’t believe what Amazon says, and I agree it’s a waste of time to try to use the coupon but not exists.
The 10% is only on a list that Amazon has that is preset for moving things. It's not 10% on whatever random things you specifically want. In my opinion this is a waste of time unless you happen to like the list of stuff that they will let you get 10% on.
I used this on a Nintendo switch last fall.
It used to be for all sold and shipped by Amazon items. Did this change?
this isn't new
Another way to say we want your address information and we will take 10% less profit from the sellers.
You answered my question. “But why”.
Wouldn’t touch it anyway as long as deJoy is postmaster general and awarding his own partially-owned companies $hundreds-million contracts. - While working from within to destroy this public trust.
Boy, 10% less revenue. not profit.
FYI, For those of us that move frequently, you have to wait 1 year between offer activations.
But could you in 2 player, have the promo twice on the same amazon account. I moved P1 and put it on P2s amazon, I assume once use the code up, i can then move P2 and apply again to the same amazon account?
@guest_1236210 I don't believe so. It's 1 per Amazon account per 12 month period. If you and P2 had separate Amazon accounts, you could probably do it.
I am going to try and test P2s amazon with the promo soon. Hope to see if it works
I see the coupon auto applies, is it a onetime use coupon? I assume it is. but didnt know for sure
IIRC it does let you deselect from using it on individual orders. But it shows up as “promotional” so if you have a coupon or credit card/point promo being applied to a purchase, you have to take all of the discounts (including Amazon Move 10%) or none of the discounts if I remember correctly.
It can be used on multiple orders (up to the $20 max discount).
This deal seems to be back, just got the offer through USPS
