Changes To Dell Rewards Program

Dell has made changes to the Dell Advantage loyalty rewards program, one of the changes is that the program will be simply called Dell rewards from now on. The other change is that you need to spend $500 within a 12-month period to earn 3% back in rewards on your purchases. Previously I believe there was no spend requirement to earn 3% back (please correct me in the comments). Other things such as earning 6% back when you finance and rewards expiring after 90 days seem to be staying the same. I guess this also slightly devalues the $100 twice annual Dell credit the business Platinum offers by $6 in rewards.

  • On feb 11 i purchased nintendo switch but never received dell rewards. Anyone else have issues with never receiving their dell rewards certificate??

    • I think the rewards post to your account a month after? Been a while since I rolled dell. I'd call/chat with dell to confirm.

      • there were some DP on reddit in last few days of xbox gc being canceled multiple times with amex. think they are onto us

          • Probably Dell gives them the credit at a discount (e.g $100 credit for $90). They probably don't want it usable on things like GC because the profit margin is usually thin

          • Pretty sure discount is much higher than that, like $100 for $50 or $60. Dell is hoping that customer will buy much more than just the $100 credit.
