- Get up to 3,000 bonus Ultimate Rewards points as follows:
- 1,000 points after you spend $1,000 in August
- 1,000 points after you spend $1,000 in September
- 1,000 points after you spend $1,000 in October

- Must activate offer by October 31, 2018
Our Verdict
It essentially ends up earning 2.5x everywhere for $3,000 in spend which is fantastic. If you use CFU as your daily driver, then it’s just free 3,000 points for spend you’d have done anyway.
Not sure if this is targeted or was sent to all CFU cardholders, check your emails Targeted offer. Nice that they give a bit of a heads-up, but remember this doesn’t start until August 1 and requires splitting up $1,000 in each of the next three months to get the full bonus.

Great, just when I closed my Chase Freedom Unlimited account. Oh well, I don't think I would've met the minimum spend requirement anyways since I'm using my Sears card for the 10X gas station/restaurants/grocery store bonus.
Nothing, but this is also my everyday spend card, so I wouldn't expect it really.
I've missed every targeted promotion!

Got it. Yay. It was personal and i put infrequent spend on it.
No CFU offer yet. But I got a meh offer on regular Freedom of 3.99%APR on all purchases thru Jan 2019. This offer was originally rec'd late Jun. It applies to all purchases from Jul 1st til Jan 2019. Chase just sent a reminder email of this offer this morning, which I felt was odd timing in light of this CFU offer.
I had cancelled my CFU and applied for the CFU Business. Got the 50k sign up bonus.
There is no such thing as CFU Business.
