- Card earns cash back, but if you have a premium Chase card like the Sapphire Reserve/Preferred, the cash works like Ultimate Rewards points

Our Verdict
They ran a similar offer last year, but without the $20,000 cap. Given the cap, it’s essentially as if there were a 30,000 points bonus on $20,000 spend – after spending $20,000 you’ll get 60,000 points, half from ordinary earn and half from signup bonus. Makes sense for someone who anyway wants to use the card as their daily driver.
