Deal is no longer available (converts to 40,000 point offer with no statement credit after logging in)
Everybody is talking about the Chase Hyatt card as the bonus will be switching to 40,000 points on June 29th. If you prefer the free nights offer then go for this bonus as it also includes the $50 statement credit.
The Offer
Direct link to offer (if that doesn’t work, try making a dummy booking)
- Chase Hyatt is offering the following bonus:
- 2 free nights after $2,000 in spend within the first three months of account opening
- $50 statement credit after your first purchase
- 5,000 points after adding an authorized user and them making their first purchase (not specifically mentioned on sign up bonus, but this applies to all Chase Hyatt cards)
Card Details
- Annual fee of $75 not waived
- Card earns at the following rates:
- 3x points on all Hyatt hotels and resorts purchases
- 2x points on restaurants, airline tickets purchased directly from the airline and car rental agencies
- 1x points on all other purchases
- No foreign transaction fees
- Free night at category 1-4 property on your card member anniversary
- World of Hyatt Discoverist Status as long as you’re a card member
- Doesn’t fall under the Chase 5/24 rule
- Not eligible if you’ve received a bonus on this card in the past 24 months
- Might be possible to turn the free night certificates into points when they expire
Our Verdict
This is the best offer on this card, apart from targeted 50,000/40,000 point bonuses that some people might prefer. This bonus used to have a minimum spending requirement of $1,000 but that was increased to $2,000. This offer is almost always available, we thought it might have expired on 03/01/2017 (thanks to our spreadsheet again) but that is not the case.
This is one of the better offers on Chase credit cards that are not subjected to the 5/24 rule. As always please read through this list of things everybody should know about Chase credit cards before applying or asking questions in the comments (as they have likely already been answered in more detail). I’m on the fence about adding this to our list of the best credit card offers, would like to hear readers thoughts.

Nevermind, it seems like you're going to be paying twice just to get a free night for the first year then thereafter is free night for the annual fee, I'm good.
Hey guys, thinking about applying for this card but I know that the annual fee isn't waived, if so would I get a free night just paying it? Thanks. For the bonus offer, don't really care too much about it lol. The free night js good enough for me aha.
Guys I am still seeing the two free night + $50 offer here: https://www.hyatt.com/gp/en/account/sign_in_chase.jsp?refererURL=/hyatt/chase/ICOffer.jsp
Are other people seeing the 40k offer? If so does it also have the $50 credit?
after login to Hyatt, it changed to 40k offer.
Ah ok, straight 40k no $50?
correct -- unfortunately. I was still hoping to do a return trip to Montego Bay Zilara :-) Been there, done that -- wanna do it again.
Best dining/food/entertainment/setting of any of the Hyatt All-inclusives we've been too so far.... Hoping they bring this two-fer back.
Does anyone have any links? Thought today was the last day.
there still many links online said provide 2 free nights... but not sure will they hornor them...
Any you can point me to? Thanks.
Darn it.. I'm getting 40000 points offer.. late by an hour :-)
Looks like I am an hour too late. I can either get the 2 free nights but no $50, or the 40,000 points and $50.
the link no longer is now pulling up 40000 point offer
I still see the free nights offer?
Just applied with the link for the 2 free nights and the $50 credit. Got the 30 day message after applying. Logged into my Chase account 10 minutes later and was approved. Yeah!
Hi,
I just checked with Chase and confirmed that the last time I received the 2 free nights sign up bonus was on 6/28/15. I cancelled my Hyatt card on 6/21/17 (just a week ago) And I safe to apply today to receive the sign up bonus?
So the new 40,000 points sign up bonus will start tomorrow 6/29/17??
Thanks
