Chase IHG Cards Remove From Chase/IHG Websites, Other Applications Not Working [Working Again]

Update 9/28/22: Application links are now live again. Hat tip to blandfruitsalad

The Chase IHG cards are currently not showing on the Chase or IHG websites and existing application links also error out. This frequently happens and normally it’s just for a few days due to maintenance, it can also sometimes happen when specifics regarding the card are changing (e.g card art or features/fees). It’s unclear why they have been removed at this stage. It could be due to the recent unauthorized activity on IHG.

  • @will I tried clicking on the link and it's giving me a 400 bad request error. I looked on the Chase site and it seems to have disappeared again. ugh.

  • Still no points posted to IHG, statement closed 3 weeks ago. IHG support doesn't respond, Chase sent a generic SM saying wait for 2 more statement cycles.

  • Man, bad timing. These cards were next on my list. Cancelled in August, went on vacation and came back ready to app. Any news on how long this will last?

  • The IHG biz i got statement closed August 19th, and points posted August 21-22nd. First the spend ($3010 * 3x multiplier = 9030 points) posted in the 21st, then the 140k posted on 22nd.

    I hit my bonus around same time on IHG personal and statement closed on Sept 5th, right after the hack.
    Points have still not posted...Others have been having similar issue.

    • Having the same issue with my personal card. Statement closed on Sept 12, but still no points posted yet. Used to post almost immediately after billing cycle closes.

    • @guest_1444748 same exact issue with me. IHG biz SUB posted as soon as the statement closed, IHG personal SUB still has not posted almost a month after statement closed.

      • By the way, I just purchased 1000 points to see what happens and they showed up instantly...soo just waiting i guess.

      • I secure messaged them and they said "it takes 30 days" which is obviously not true, but when will you hit one month? once it hits one month i think perhaps consider reaching out at that point. I am literally waiting to make a booking for these points, its crazy!

    • The 140k bonus on the IHG Biz CC posted 2-3 weeks after the points from the minimum spend posted. It was strange.

  • I signed up for the card two weeks ago, just before the problems started. Until about three days ago, I couldn’t sign on to the IHG website, but the app worked fine. Just checked and the card show up normally on the Chase website, I can sign in on the IHG website. I have made charges on the card and the card works fine. I made a reservation using the app.
    It seems everything is working normally for me. Fingers crossed….

    • Yes, my existing cards are showing normally at the Chase and IHG website. I think this DoC post was meant to be only about card application sites, but that wasn't clear in this post. If you go to the Chase website and browse new cards, the IHG cards are missing from THAT list. But anyone who already has a Chase IHG card doesn't necessarily seem to be affected.
