Our Verdict
Better than the previous deal of 100,000 points. We will obviously repost this bonus when it goes live, mostly posting now because apparently Chase won’t match this offer. This will go onto the best credit card bonus page.

this link is not working and looks like the offer is dead
Expired sometime in the afternoon today
any luck with referrals matching this offer? P2 referral is still the 3 free nights at 35k....
I was planning on applying this week but just saw the award chart elimination news. Maybe I should hold off. Don't wanna waste a 5/24 slot for this
Does paying property tax count for meeting the SUB? Thanks
Yes, that's what I did. I got the points a day after statement closed, and the free night certificate a day later.
Thanks Kuya, I was wondering about this because I have a trip I want to use the points for in January. I met the spend min 2 weeks ago but statement closes in 2 days and still no points. Hopefully mine post after statement closes like yours.
I have 95k points accumulated with my business trip before Covid. Not sure if we can get to travel again. Can i apply for this card and downgrade to no fee card later. Want to have one no fee card to keep points without expiration. I have similar Hilton card to keep my points from expiry.
Yes you can apply and downgrade later.
Thanks for the information. No fee card is a visa card. Does it mean i need to apply Visa card with bonus points offer. Then downgrade after a year to avoid fee and keeping the points from expiring using free card.
once the points are transferred to Marriott you are good to go. Apply for this card first then downgrade to a new fee card that is still part of marriot family
Does anyone know if a retention offer on the Marriott Biz counts as an "upgrade bonus in the last 24 month"? I'm past 24 months since I signed up for the Biz Amex and this offer looks appealing,
no it should not. that is retention you didn't upgrade anything
Tried changing from the previous sign up bonus to this one but wasn't able to through SM.
amex rarely matches
@guest_1256145 this card is from Chase, not Amex.
same thing Chase and Amex rarely matches Marriot offers
Not the same thing. Chase does match. Research it.
Do we know how long on average these deals last? Thanks for the heads up doc. If I cancel my marriott amex now, I still have to wait 30 days and hope that the deal is still around
Till early November
Has anyone login to their marriot accounts to see if they are targeted for the five free nights?
