Our Verdict
A while back there was an offer for five free nights which some might prefer. In any case, I think a lot of people will find this $150 cash + 100,000 points interesting.
Someone seeking a fully cash bonus can, I suppose, hold the points for a year and then downgrade to the Bold and then cashout most of the points for a $750 statement credit to offset airline and Marriott purchases; the Bold card has a PYB feature. (Tangentially, that card has a direct signup bonus of 60,000 points + a free night, and has no annual fee.)
We’ll add this to our list of Best Current Credit Card Signup Bonuses.

Offer seems good, especially as it works through referral links too it seems. I have 9 HPs recently and opened two new cards from Chase in the last 14 days, so mu chances are zero for this, right?
Any recent datapoints for applying while over 5/24?
Isn't this worse than the 140k points offer from end of last year?
Isn't this much worse than 140k points offer from end of 2024?
When will the offer end?
Can you have this card and the Ritz Carlton card?
You can refer to this from the Ritz card as well.
Indeed. P2 referred me from her Ritz card and I had this SUB on application page. Called recon line after "we need to review your application" (usually happens to verify info) and approved. Rep confirmed SUB.
Anyone have any experience selling the points for cash (to third parties)? I'm not planning on travelling and I'm trying to get an idea of what this SUB would be worth to people in my situation.
I’m seeing this same offer available via referral with 40k points for the referrer 👍
That's good to know but were the offers been different through referral links?
will chase issue 1099 for the 40Koints?
Does the referral for this card only show up for referrals that already have a Chase Marriott card?
Asking since my player #2 and I don't have the Marriott card yet (but only have the Freedom and Sapphire Reserve) and don't see a referral for the Marriott card.
Not sure if this is targeted but, on the front page of my Bonvoy app, I have an offer for a $400 GC & 25,000 miles after $2000 spend in first 3 months
I saw that when making a dummy booking.
